Forgive the intrusion in this thread - I'm usually on the 12m+ thread!

Anyway - I'm looking to sell my CBFM (used, but v good nick with instructions) for £20 (free p+p). Anyone interested? PM me if you are! I'll even throw in a few HPTs for free (I have about 5 left I think).

I hope I'm allowed to do this - apologies if not, and I'll go down the ebay route instead!
  • Gemma, if you're crazy, then so am I!
  • QQ, I wouldn't say that I'm slim- I'm doing slimming world at the moment- planning ahead you see as apprently you can stay on plan while pregnant... I've lost 14lbs which I'm happy about but I still have 35lbs to go to hit target. I don't tend to suffer too much with the PCOS (I get acne and my periods went from being the textbook 28 days and 3 days long to all over the shop and hideous with occasional really bad pains) but my worry is that when I was diagnosed with it in 2008 (and the endometriosis) I wasn't TTC and had no intention of starting so I didn't ask the consultant any useful things at all. The only thing he recommended to me was the Mirena so that it 'didn't get worse' and protected my womb health. I had it removed through a family planning clinic and didn't really think to see if they offered conceiving advice- I assumed that they only dealt with trying to stop it! The only thing she said was to look at my diet and look after myself. I think it's too early to go to my GP and demand to know what's going on and part of me is terrified that if I do they'll tell me I'm knackered.

My prediction for November is 11- what can I say, I'm feeling optimistic. :)

I know exactly what you mean, I often wish I could tell them to get a grip and realise how lucky they are. Unfortunately it doesn't get much easier when you have your own LO though I'm afraid. I definitely find it harder to hear some things now than i used to.

I totally agree with you there esio trot, I can be quite tough on some of my mums, and it is harder in some ways when you have your own-I work with kids around the same age as my son and they have babies of their own

Noooo! That was NOT the objective!!

I know-I blame the hormones :rotfl:I did laugh as well though

DJ- That chick is freaking crazy! I don't feel quite so mental now!

Esio- I used to think I was pretty sensitive, but I am much worse now I have DD, even silly things like TV programmes where kids/ babies get hurt/ lost etc make me feel physically sick and very tearful. The one thing I wasn't so prepared for with being a mum is the fear, nothing specific but anything that might harm/ upset your child seems so much more real doesn't it? OK, maybe I am as crazy as the cat lady!

That fear and worry about your kids never goes away-all part of being a mum, I've just been ranting to mrhappy about a comment one of my sons teachers made abut him today, I'm beyond angry and am ready for charging up to the school like a madwoman :o
  • @mrshappy- I'm 28 and my Mum still gets like that when people upset me. I'm looking forward to being the same with my future kids. :)

Right - I didn't want to have to do this, but we need a serious laugh around here.

    This should do the job.

And then there were people ringing in who were exceptions to all of that. So kind of what youd expect really.
    Thanks:)

Well, my pma is up and down like a flipping yoyo today!

I had a, wee sob on dh before because "it shouldn't be this hard" or something to that effect, and I'd still not got bfp or af or anything useful to determine what was going on with my cycle. Also dh's cousin had been here for a long weekend and we kind of look on him as a nephew (he's only 2 years older than my oldest niece) and mother him (his mum, dh's aunt, died 3.5yrs ago) -anyway, he went home today and dh pointed out that we've possibly gotten upset cos we have empty nest syndrome kicking in now he's gone home, too...he could have a point :o

Then I thought "i think I felt this way when we were away for our anniversary" -ss wise- so I looked on ff and that was about 2wks before af showed, so I thought maybe I'm oving now, and this spotting is just my crusty bogged down pcos ovaries complaining at doing what they're supposed to...so as we've been bding near enough every 2 days (since giving dh a pep talk ;)), that'd be fine...

Then I went to clean up after bd and found more abundant spotting...so who flipping knows now :(

I think I'm just gonna have to watch what I eat very carefully now, try and lose a few more pounds in the next few weeks, wait til af is here, and then get referred back to the gynae. I'm sick of this. It's clearly not getting better by itself :(

Thanks for thinking of me bb :o how are you doing?

    Sexy mouse, :( for cd1 :(

 everyone else, can't remember specifics to reply individually :o
