Heh! We got married and streamed it via the internet, and unfortunately had to spend time apart, due to US laws and them not recognising our relaitonship - so of course we skyped then. Be fitting if we actually managed to make a baby this time!

I'm more than happy to talk about it - who knows, somebody lurking is considering it and wants some info! The donor is somebody we don't know, but have just met up with him and his swimmers for this sole purpose. This is the second donor we have used and I like this guy a LOT. The first I really didn't (should have been a clue - but you know, when you are desperate for a baby....)
    Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j

Just checked my CM as 2b suggested (TMI warning).... its very creamy white so nowhere near EWCM - theres no chance that OH's swimmers are gonna get through that tonight!! :(

Ive never actually done that but when someone announces their bfp I do go to the 1st page to see how long it took!

I just worked out the average for the whole list because now you have me wondering and I think its 3.29! Which is pretty fast!

Although I guess it depends on whether when someone comes onto this thread they say they actually started ttc at a certain time, or they dont and therefore their date becomes that month or not??
Yes me too :rotfl:Very good point!

well thats not very helpful is it ? sadly must be a man thing, mine comes out in a cold sweat at any talk of babies, though he does love the trying part :rotfl:

I sometimes sit and think am I mad, are we doing the right thing ? But then i have doubts about any big decision and thats totally normal, i think anything as life changing deserves a bit of too-ing and fro-ing.

Its one of the reasons I like coming here, no-one is going to roll their eyes because I've gone gooey at a baby on an advert or Im window shopping on eBay for baby gear :)
I could have wrote this post myself!!:eek:Agree in every way.

QQ - Can you change me to CD14 +OPK please. Defo think it's happened today as felt a little twinge too :D

This is our first month of using OPK's and I appear to ovulate 2 days earlier than I thought. So I get the feeling in the previous months we kept missing it. Fingers crossed!!!

    *Back to lurking again now*

  • Hi everyone, hope everyone is ok.

I'm into the final 5 days of TWW now (thanks for keeping track on me QQ, I always lose count myself!)

I've got a fairly busy few days this working week - cinema tomorrow, meal out Thursday - and work is busy this week, so hopefully I won't get a wagging finger for SS'ing :rotfl:

Saw some pics today of the 'work baby' and have melted inside. So cute and tiny.:o
  • Hi all...

I wonder if any of you remember me and my OH and the issues we had back in August/September last year...? Anyway, just to give you all something to think about, I thought I'd come back here and remind you that I haven't forgotten, that we're still using some of the terms and tips from here, and that, well, we're still waiting...

If you don't remember me and the history, we've been married for 2.5 years, been getting nowhere fast, had a MC (and subsequent ERPC) back in August last year, and no signs of any pregnancy or progress since then. Apparently, I have 12% morphology and a really bad/erratic SA that didn't help with things, so we went down the route of IVF...

Anyway, we've had all the IVF drugs, had 14 eggs collected, 8 frozen after successful fertilization, and one transferred successfully. We do the proper test as per the date that the IVF clinic gave us on Wednedsay morning this week, the wait has almost killed us...

We came up with a new term for your acronym list this morning, when doing a cheapie PT..... We got a CFLP, even chuffin fainter than a TLP!!! So faint, my OH didn't even see it, and I had to look closely in the light, and I saw that there was indeed a tiny little red line there. Given that we're 48 hours earlier than the clinic's date, I'm thinking that levels are barely being picked up.

So yeah, 2.5 years of waiting, 1 MC later, 1 round of IVF treatment later, and it looks like we may need to go over to the "first 12 weeks" board, but we've got to get through til the end of this week first... My OH has reported spotting since last night, which isn't good, especially since AF is due today... (it's a bit late for implantation, isn't it?)

Hope all's well with you all, that you remain positive, and remember: que sera sera.......
Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...
