Do you have any pain in your shoulders, I found that my shoulders were aching with the pressure and stress as WELL as having a headache.

(disclaimer: not that I am for one moment suggesting you quit your job! :D)

I have had a bit of pain in my neck.

Oh believe me I'd love to! (Although I do like what I do in general!) :D

2b I'm sure you'll get your peak tomorrow. Have you got another photo for us to look at?

Hugs for those who've been visited by the witch!
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Hi, I simply cannot keep up with everyone on here, but I do read when I can! Still nothing happening here, just waiting for AF and knicker watching! :)

Has anyone had reflexology? I was just looking thorugh my Medicash benefits and reflexology is in there, a woman I used to work with did it as a sideline was a firm believer in how good it was and gave me a couple of sessions which were lovely and left me feeling wonderful, but I just love anyone rubbing my feet! :o Anyway, I was looking at it since I can get my money back through my health plan so I might as well treat myself to a couple of sessions and saw that there's quite a bit of press about it helping people concieve... worth a try right?! I know I've hardly even started trying but if it helps to sort out my cycles I'll be happy! If not...well I do love a foot rub! ;)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

I get tension headaches. What helped keep it under control for me was regular massage. I started at 1 every week for 2 weeks then out to 1 every fortnight then for me I settled between 1 every 3-4 weeks. Then it kept it under control. I started more regularat the beginnning to get the tension relieved as it had built up a lot.

    Happy (belated) birthday Rebekah!
Secret debts – believe me, I know how you feel. I had to wait four months between periods. I tried leaving the house without any tampons, BDing, planning a night out that would need me to wear a glam frock, white clothes the lot. It never worked.
After a trip to the doctor (who clearly thought I was a hypochondriac) and about a million pg and OV tests I gave up and drank a bottle of cider every night for a week (I’d been abstaining for TTC reasons but hardly drink anyway). Worked a treat.
Whattodonow – A late AF can be a blessing if you haven’t caught your egg, especially if it sorts out timing issues. Good PMA.

2a I have missed why you want to try with your donor the day before your first peak? When you get the first peak it means you are 24-48 days away from when you are expected to ovulate, so the most likely time for you to conceive are on those two peak days and the high day following them. Although sperm CAN live in the body for up to 5 days it doesn't usually. The number of live sperm fall off day by day, with day 5 being the outside limit for when they might survive. You will also lose some by virtue of gravity, washing, using the toilet etc. So if you bd on the high day before the peak only, you are potentially only getting sperm which is at 40% of it's maximum potency and less volume than you would ideally like. The best time in reality to bd is on the evening of the first peak and morning of the second when you are likely to be within a 12 hour window pre ovulation, so the sperm is optimum fresh, and just reaching the egg as it is released.

The 5 day rule you hear about is more relevant for those who are using natural methods to avoid a pregnancy than those who are trying to maximize their chances.

    Thanks Nicki

The reason that we wanted to, is everybody I know who has DTD with donor sperm (and I know its not the same rule for all) has conceived if they have DTD the day before the peak - and that's the only day we haven't managed to do so far! My preference would be day before and day of peak.

Also I thought that because the sperm can take quite a while to get there, it would be better to do get them in their for their long journey!
