*think* I've caught up now pretty much.

    Emsbet - sorry you've had a s***ty time.

Congrats Triangle and Miss Giggle! I get so excited about the BFPs and I don't even know you all yet! Is anyone testing today?

Re: Iron levels - it's correct that you can't have tea around the same time you take iron. I've stopped having a cuppa first thing for that reason, plus if it effects how you absorb iron it might have the same effect on folic acid (note, I have no scientific evidence for this theory).

Tinkwings - you snuck in there while I was writing. Happy anniversary!

    Hi Lily

I haemmoredged after DD and it was borderline whether I needed a transfusion or not. The midwife in the hospital recommended this stuff to me

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Floradix-Liquid-Iron-Formula-500ml/dp/B000Z971W6

I thought it tasted vile but it did do the trick very quickly and much easier to tolerate than iron tablets which give you awful constipation (not good with stitches down below:( )

As others have said fresh orange juice aids absorption of iron, and also be aware tea inhibits it, so don't have a cup of tea with or close to meals.

Thanks for that Nicki, I hadn't heard of that liquid iron supplement. :) I think there's one called spatone too which has added vitamin c. I got a sample of that once but think I threw it away. :o

Perhaps OJ with my brekkie then. I thought it was strange to be anaemic as the cereal I have has added iron, but I have a cup of tea with it every morning, so that could explain it!
Lily_the_legend sorry if this has already been considered, but as we've come across each other on another thread, are you sure you're eating enough? Sometimes a drastic change in diet can trigger headaches. Also make sure you're getting enough fluids into you. That will help with EWCM and also headaches (if they're dehydration headaches)

I'll slink back off now. Sorry!

No need to apologise comp! You're welcome here! :)

It could be an explanation if I was being very strict on a diet, but I haven't been very good this week. I do think it could be due to my poor diet TBH. :o It's just difficult with my IBS and other issues to eat healthily at times. Bit worried the doctor is going to have a go at me about not eating healthily/being overweight etc tomorrow. :o

I did think perhaps it was dehydration too as my office has been quite hot lately, but I still had it at the weekend when I was feeling cooler, plus I've been trying to drink more.

It is quite good but in would say if you are going to get it wait until they have an offer on. They often have offers on their fb page where you can get then subscription heavily discounted. I got mine for about £15.
