  • Thanks Emsbet, well I peed on an IC this afternoon and there was hint of something but not sure what, evap or tlc, so i waited then did another IC and hubbie said he could see it too and we decided it was there too quickly to be an evap, so a FRER has a 2nd line, as does a tesco one... i have a digi upstairs so i might get that out at some point over the weekend, need to POAS again tomorrow to see if this is real!?

Enjoy, the best thing you can do for your bean now is to stay stress free (easier said than done ;))

    Congratulations on your pregnancy LMG

Though as a scientist I do wonder why you said what you did when there are at least half a dozen of us active on the thread who are in the first few weeks following a loss? I don't know how it made the others feel, but personally it made me feel pretty rubbish :(

I'm the same so know what you mean.
I'm sure no one would mind you sticking around.
Now go get some rest :)

I'm back! Nails are dry, babysitter (Nana) is about to turn up - BUT DW has just had an urgent call on her work phone, which may mean we can't go out - waiting to see! Im sure if we can't, she will suggest I can - but I enjoy going out with her much much more.

I got a line on my OPK at 5pm, after managing to hold my wee in for 3 hours (honestly, it's a struggle for me, pre baby!) - it's not positive, but I can tell it's going up. Going to try and see the donor at least twice this month, once doesn't really cut the mustard.

I think the plan of attack will be - tomorrow and Sunday (and later if the OP/Peak comes, whichever day it shows + on) depending on donors availability. I want to try and get it for the day before the peak and on day of peak, we've never managed it!

I had a temp dip today, but I tossed and turned and had HORRIBLE dreams, that DW was having an affair with a colleague of hers, and she had long hiar (if you've seen my wedding pic, you will know what a nightmare this truly was!!!)

Hopefully you wont be needing any more opks next month (!) but if you do, in the booklet that comes with mine, it says to reduce your fluid intake for 2 hours before you do the test. So that it doesnt get diluted.

So you shouldnt have to hold your pee in either because you wouldnt have drunk much, so I just thought Id post this incase it helped? :)

Infact when Ive forgotten to do this, and have drunk and therefore needed to pee, Ill do it but then do it again maybe half an hour later and use that to test with. So then its never diluted!

It's just a very real fear many women have, Nicki, and being a scientist and knowing it makes no sense makes it no less real.

I know you and others are in a raw place right now but I'm sure LMG didn't mean to upset anyone, she is just a bit scared, which is perfectly natural.

    Congratulations LMG!

Ok. I'm off to bed now knowing that I was not a good enough home for my baby to want to stick. Thanks both.
