Trying for a Baby Part 7

Hi all,
Haven't posted for a while due to being away for the weekend and then being mad busy at work.
Anyway, I did an IC OPK yesterday afternoon and to my surprise I got what looked very much like a positive. Showed DH and spent a while squinting and scrutinising it before deciding it wasn't quite positive as the top of the test line was a bit fainter even though the rest of it was definitely as dark as the control. So, I did another one this afternoon, expecting a definite positive and the line was much fainter so now I think that yesterday's was positive after all. However, we didn't DTD last night nor the night before. We will tonight but I think it might be too late now? I've convinced myself that I ovulated shortly after getting that positive and that it's now more than 24 hours therefore too late. I know I'm thinking about it too much and it's only our second month of trying so have plenty more chances but I can't help being annoyed.
Next month I'm going to start using the OPK's a few days earlier as it looks like I am OVing earlier than I expected. I might also get some of the Clearblue digi ones just to back up when I think I've got a positive as I find those IC ones a bit hard to read. A bit more BDing wouldn't hurt either :rotfl:
Sorry for the ramblings - I feel bad posting such trivial nonsense considering what some of you are going through. Just needed to put my thoughts somewhere. Hope you don't mind.
Massive hugs to anyone that needs them. And lots of PMA all round.

Just been to Frankie and Benny's for tea and feel like I ate everything on the menu. Only had a burger. My stomach is so full of wind today. Any cures???

but I'm fairly positive about it all, the next few weeks will be stressful though, so please bear with me if I go off on random mad rants!
Hope you enjoy Lee Evans. We saw him recently, and he was brilliant! :TLily - yay for being picked up and going home!

I feel a bit better now. x0 -
i love holidays - me in NW too! Not a great day. No rain though!
Elelyn - omg I tried OPKs for this first time this month and found them totally confusing - strong line for days, ut not as strong as test line... then no line at all, then a very very strong line... probably wise to use them everyday and BD whenever its positive or nearly positive just in case! V. frustrating though. Can see why peeps use CBFM.0 -
The control line has to be lighter than the test line for it to be positive. I used them this month and always had a faint line part from one day, when the test line was darker than the control line.Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]

Yes, well, I had better not say I'm veggie, I'm a pescatarian, so I eat fish too. Some veggies get annoyed if I say I'm one of them when I eat fish!Just been to Frankie and Benny's for tea and feel like I ate everything on the menu. Only had a burger. Glad you're feeling better. Peppermint tea might help? x0 -

I have had a ravaging appetite for about the past 5 days - which isn't a usual sign
5 days not 65 LOL ...0 -

See that's the confusing thing. Half of the test line was really dark, at least as dark as the control line but it sort of faded a bit at one edge. I think I'd be better off with the digi ones but they're so bloomin' expensive! I'm going to drive myself mad with all of this...........:(0 -
This is the same for us! November he will be Las Vagas with work friends during the important week.

Ha - well - that's where I'll be - Las Vegas... maybe ill see your hubby! Fingers crossed for both of us then!0 -
