Good grief! I have a few days off and there's five BFPs!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS Sa-ra-ra-ra, Lisa, tinkwings, Laura and Newyearnewstart!!!

And hugs to everyone the witch got.

Rebekah sorry you think AF is about to start. :(

Sexymouse, so sorry to hear about your MIL. Hope she is better soon

As for me, I was following the SMEP plan this month, so we DTD on day 8, then on day 10 we were both sooooo tired, so we skipped a day (you are supposed to do it every other day till OV) and did it last night on day 11, and today I had some EWCM, so think I am ovulating, which means we have to do it for three days straight, so it will be four days in a row!! (is there a tired smilie?).

It wasn't much EWCM so I'm not sure, but I do feel rather up for it so my body must be telling me something! OH is well up for SMEPing anyway, so will try and follow it properly now. I figure the day off might have helped, because we ended up doing it last night right before EWCM, whereas if I'd followed it properly we'd not have done it till tonight (night off last night) so might have missed it maybe?

I have a friend IRL who said her friend struggled to get PG, then she SMEPed, and was PG the first month she did it, so I'm very hopeful.

But does anyone know if it's possible to just have a little bit of EWCM and be fertile? I usually have loads for a day or two, but I seem to have just have this one bit, which came out when I was doing a number 2, sorry TMI :o It's just wet apart from that so am a bit confused.

    Good morning:wave:

Secretdebts, welcome:wave: Hope you are not going to read the whole 780 pages! Just ask, and we can fill you in:p
I've listed you on the first page:) Would you like your age to be listed too?
As for OPKs, people start testing between CD6-9. You should do it in the afternoon, after not drinking and holding your pee for 3hrs:o
Just before going to bed works best for me as I drink far too much during the day:p.

Thanks QQ I'm 28. I'm trying to read through the whole 780 as I'm a bit OCD with this type of thing and I refuse to stop half way lol:o. I'll get started on the OPKs as soon as they arrive then :A

And a HUGE congrats to all those with their BFPs :j:j:j

Good luck to everyone else....... We want sticky baby dust all round.;)

Excellent news, congratulations :T:T:T:T... 3 BPF's in one day!!

I've had what feels like Ov pains for 4 days now grrrr I know it is nothing to do with any pregnancy symptoms at 2 DPO just wish they would go away.... does this happen to anyone else?

Also another question... when you are in your 2WW do you watch what you eat re don't eat things like pate, soft cheese etc and stay away from medication? I took 2 paracetamol last night for a headache (1 DPO) but the thought of not doing it just in case never crossed my mind until today. I'm sure everything will be ok if I did get a BFP it just got me wondering what everyone else does.

Paracetamol is fine, just don't take ibuprofen.

Evening all. I was wondering if I could join you? I have just read through the new thread (and started the old one!) and you all seem so lovely and supportive.

I am 27 and TTC #3 although it will be my first time of actually ttc as both of mine were conceived whilst I was on the pill. After my 2nd baby I realised the pill doesn't work for me and have had an implant since 2005 (changed in 2008). Anyways I had my implant out on the 26/07/11 and AF arrived on 18/08/11 so I think that makes me CD4 today if I understand right? I fully expect my periods to be all over the place for a good few months though - I haven't a clue what my 'normal' cycle is!

Massive congrats to everyone who has had their BFP this month xxxx

    Hi PEnguin, and welcome. :)

Yes, you are CD4. Are you planning on trying to TTC by charting, etc., or are you just going to go with the flow to begin with until you know your cycle?

I don;t chart, but I check my mucus and go by that. Lots of girls on here do chart and can help you out with that if you need it.

Hi Skintchick. Thanks for the welcome!

For the first few months I intend to just keep track of what is happening in that area :rotfl:with regards to cycle length, flow, discharge :o etc and then start with the charting (is that where people monitor their temp and test for ovulation?) when I know my body better. We are actively ttc though in the meantime. It's all very exciting! xx
