Well I'm just back from having my hair done, and feel a bit more glamorous now. :) lol Unfortunately my hairdresser told me today that she is leaving to work in a salon in Piccadilly, so that was my last hair cut with her. :( To be honest, I was sort of expecting it, as she is young and very ambitious, and she couldn't really progress much where I live. I'm excited to hear about any celebrities she's been styling (she did my hair first! lol). I've taken her mobile number so I can text her when I get my BFP, as she's followed my journey all the way through (preparing for the wedding, doing my hair for the party when I came home, and now the TTC). She's told me that I have to let her know as soon as I find out, as she's really excited about it. Bless her!

Got to decide what we're having for dinner this week, and then go and do the food shopping. I'm making sure that we've got some goat's cheese on the menu now AF is here too.

Hugs for all who need or want them,

    sexymouse xx
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Oh yes I knew that, but I thought since it was over 12 weeks:(

I was at 13+3 but they think baby died at 11+3 so (s)he never made it to 12 weeks :( so it's classed as an early mc.

You could buy something that's similar in size, and shorten them?

When we went yesterday she turned the screen to show us and we thought all was ok but then after a short while I think she realised she couldn't see the heartbeat. That was the worst bit :(

(s)he looked like a perfect little baby.

I'm sorry if I'm talking too much about this. I don't want to worry/upset any of you lovely ladies. If my posts are upsetting/offensive to ANY of you please let me know and I will not post anymore about it on here and confine it to the mc thread and just post TTC side of things.
    xx

Not at all, emsbet, please post whatever and whenever you like my dear. You have been supportive to us all over the last xx months, we'd like to do the same. As far as I'm concerned, yes I do worry about mc, the thought petrifies me - but there's no point in denying it because the sad fact is that a large number of pregnancies DO end in mc :( Knowledge is power, an' all that - I don't want to bury my head in the sand about what COULD happen.

CBFM still on high rather than peak today which is a bit of a shame as DH was rather awesome last night :o so it would have been nice to have conceived then :D:D. Wonder if he can keep his standards up for another week...

:rotfl: "rather awesome" - love it! I've always thought it would be great to conceive during really amazing sex, rather than anything too perfunctory! (although if it produces a baby, fine by me)

emsbet - my favourite computer game thingy is from the bbc4 tv show called "only connect" - on the website they have lots of puzzle wall thingys to solve in a set time, my DH and I love doing those. Needs a web connection though.

Just got home from a craft morning - not my usual cup of tea but someone invited me and I thought why not? It was fun :) Made 2 cards and a little gift box. Just got home and am knackered! Have a whole list of jobs to do though :o

Going out for dinner tonight to a Greek restaurant, nom nom :D

Triangle - I know what you mean about knicker-watching! Me too :o I don't think I'm gonna test on tuesday though, I have seen too many BFNs and it depresses me!

  • Hello all,

I hope you do not mind me posting to this thread. I am really struggling at the minute and feel a bit of a failure. We have been trying since Christmas with no pregnancy yet.

I just feel low as everyone else around me seems to be pregnant, it is happening to everyone but me.

My Husband already had 2 children when I met him and had the snip. He had a reversal done for me in Aug 2010 that was successful but his count is low. (19 million with 32% mobility). Although I have no issues with his ex, it hurts a bit that she is pregnant with her 4th child. (After making him have the snip saying she didn't want anymore - I am mature enough to accept people change, bitterness is not good)

So are some friends who caught the first month.

He does all the stuff to improve sperm count and I have been testing ovulation. I just really want a baby now!

Good luck to everyone else trying! xxxx

    Welcome Jessikita and ((hugs))
There are lots of people on here with similar problems to yours so you should get some good advice/support.
DH and I don't seem to have issues getting pg but can't seem to keep hold of our babies long enough and so I have a lot of feelings of failure because of that.
I along with most, if not all the ladies here, I understand those feelings when others around you seem to have an easier time getting/staying pg. I can't tell you how to deal with this properly because I haven't found a way yet :o but I can say that you will find lots of support and understanding here
