I have quite a regular 26 day cycle & on about day 18 now.

Erm... where did my OV go?! This morning my temp was still very low, but it was about 44 hours since first +OPK. Still have EWCM today too, but the OPK was just negative as it was a little fainter than the control, but still very clear.

That was optemistic of you QQ to put me as 0DPO yesterday - my temps resemble a mountain range!

Think I've broken DH. This morning the man who usually has to be coaxed out of bed jumped up and into the shower like the bed was on fire. Turns out 7 times in 48 hours is as much as he can handle and I think he's a bit scared I'm going to come onto him again! Turns out things are a little tender after the weekend so I'll have to leave him alone for a bit.

I got sent a proof copy of 'Bump and Grind - a guide to getting pregnant' and I've been reading it the last few days. Lady tried for 3 years, all the IVF, herbs, drugs etc, and then fell pg naturally the month she 'gave up on science and went zen 'ie started yoga, meditation, and a detox diet. What was interesting to me though is she adopted 'The Way of the Rabbit' some fertility guru told her about (she'd been doing the every other day thing for all of her cycles) - basically never being more than 8 hours without BDing for 7 days!!! Literally at it like bunnies. I think my DH would love this at the start but start locking himself in the bathroom by the end of it! Supposedly most men have no issue keeping the quality high this while going this often, indeed being in a constant state of arousal produces more testosterone and can double the sperm count each go, and this ensures there is always fresh stuff in there in case the EWCM isn't ideal. I found it really interesting tbh, as it seems more logical to me than the every 2 days thing - more sex = more chance of babies surely?

Enough rambling from me, going back to doing a rain-OV-dance to try to get it to come tomorrow. I do not want it not to come at all, I don't need a fiddly issue with yet another bit of my body.

I guess so - but this is a whole new world! I have ordered a CBFM (not sure if they are worthwhile) which I assume will enlighten me more about my cycle.

When discussing whether we did or didn't go for it, DH said 'will it mean more sex whilst we try?' Obviously he has his own priorities & I'm sure looks forward to being told that we 'have' to have sex! I haven't even bothered trying to explain the monitor. I think his interest will just be around the BDing - look at me getting into the lingo already!

I don’t think I can temp because I’m sure I read you have to have four hours of sleep and I never sleep that long in one go.

I'd take a relaxing approach:) I'd only start temping if it's taking longer than expected.

I’m determined to find out if there is a fertility chair and then steal it for myself.

What I found with my DH is that he is interested in CBFM, in a way that it tells you scientifically when one ov's. His always asking 'did you get Peak?' before every BD is annoying though:o

If unlike my DH (he BDs once every week zzz), your DH likes BDing and can't get enough of it, then I think there's no need to tell him when you are oving:) Some men prefer not to know. They don't like BD for 'making babies':huh:

It has always been that he can't get enough - we'll see how that works out if it's on offer every day for a week! :rotfl:

Just put some dates into an ovulation calendar & my next fertile period is when we are away together for a few days :beer:
