Teamlowe, I cant believe how ignorant/insensitive people are, or what they think they will achieve by posting such stuff on facebook. I hope your other friend is not too upset by it, I seem to be hiding/deleting more and more people these days i'm going to end up a bit of norman no mates I think!
Squirrel, I do hope that seeing her is good and makes you remember why you were friends in the first place. I really feel your hurt on this one, its so upsetting when people 'forget' about you because you don't have a child the same age as theirs. I know its their problem but I still want to be friends and I don't know howhope it works out for you though. It would be nice to know you ladies in real life sometimes!
Gemmzie hope its a positive soon but it can take a while after any hormonal contraception for your cycles to settle down to normal so don't worry too much.
Atton hope you have fun at the cinema, up and out for 8 doesn't sound too bad to me but i normally start work before then
tea lover - this will sound daft but what do your ovaries feel like? do you mean they hurt or you can feel where they are? :cool:0 -
Tea: Do I work in the same office as you?! My colleague always seems to eat stinky cheese& onion crisps/ eggs/ etc then burps for ages after. Its horrible
*hugs* Lily xxxx
Lovely cushions Tinks! I'm just learning to use a sewing machine so hopefully I will be able to make lovely things soon!
TeamLowe : I have lots of supposed friends who seem all 'mother earth' if you don't BF you are ruining your childs life... bla bla bla. Well TBH some people cannot BF, it doesn't always come naturally (most certainly didn't for me!) I am not afraid to admit it, I formula fed my son! He isn't grey, infact quite pink and yummy :P You do whats best for you/ your child xxx
I've decided not to order a thermometre/ ov strips just yet, going to try work out when I am ov and then see how we get on. Hubby works away so catching him in time might be difficult!! I am going to get some sasmar conceive plus lub as I am certain that helped last time (took us 12 months to conceive and the month we used that we got lucky) I just worry as we have had unprotected sex many times with no joy... but I am a bit confused with my cycles

I'm new to this, been browsing all of your posts for a while and want to join in! I came off the pill at the beginning of April, had my first proper AF start of July and had another start of August. I don't feel temping would work for me because I'm a pretty bad sleeper and move about too much. I wanted to try opk's and bought the clearblue digital (smiley face) ones because they looked pretty easy to use, I ordered them on ebay and was excited about using them for the first time...so yesterday I was ready to test and the stupid thing came up with an error code which says don't use and contact the manufacturer
I've tried calling them after work but they close at 3pm, just frustrating because I might miss out on testing now and don't want to miss out on a month

Lilymay thats so good you got to see a good FS.
So can I ask why do you need to take clomid if you are ovulating and she doesnt think your luteal phase is a problem ? Which is great, at least you can stop worrying about that now!Is it just to make it happen earlier or something?

She doesn't think i am ovulating. My last test results were abnormally low even for pre-ov. I am more inclined to believe a FS and blood results than a fertility monitor
I am not complaining - I get virtually no signs of ovulation. If all the tests come back clear, i am hoping clomid will help.14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
Well because I'm a glutton for punishment I tested this morning as AF hadn't arrived... BFN
AF will probably turn up this afternoon
I just rang to get my test results and got told that a Dr wants to phone me to talk about it, fingers crossed everything is OK.
Welcome Hopefor3. How annoying about the OPK erroring, can you just BD every other day and hope for the best this cycle?
Sorry to hear that things are still rubbish with your 'best' friend SquirrelThat's really unkind to push you out then show off her new 'bestie' on FB so much! I hope I never act like that. I've had a similar thing with my oldest friend (we've known each other since nursery!), we would see each other all the time and got really close during the uni years (not that I went, but all my other friends disappeared to all ends of the country and my friend commuted to her uni from home), once uni was over and some of our other friends ended up living in the same city that my friend moved to all of a sudden I was surplus to requirements. I'm lucky if I see her 3 times a year now and each time I have to get in touch with her to organise it and I have to travel to her; in the 3 years I've lived in my flat she's visited once. She's always doing stuff with another friend (who I've only known since primary school...) and they don't ever bother to ask me along, I used to make a fuss over it but now I've just accepted that it's something I can't change and stop getting upset (mostly). They're both single and I don't know if they leave me out because they think I'll be a boring old smug married (which I'm not!)?!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Morning ladies.
Haven't been able to test for ov in last couple of days, as been working 14 hour shifts! But am pretty sure its today (as had lots of ewcm yesterday and dull ache from ovary - which I get everymonth at that time) so I'm going with ov being today.
I've (ahem) "made" my hubby BD every other day since last Friday including last night so we've done all we can in that respect, let's just hope one of the little !!!!!!s is a good swimmer this month! Now for the 2ww and I'll let hubby have a rest!0 -
Hi all, hope your all well.
A morning question ladies.
It's now getting to the point where I may have to "chat" to OH about BDing around ovu time. Previous months BDing around that time has been ok. But as I start reaching the 6 month ttc mark at aged 35, I will be going to Gp about advice and blood works.
I am trying temping the best I can with shift work, but getting up at 5:30 for a early shift (lol atton you thought 8am was early) and then having varied shifts can do the best I can.
Am sure me and OH could step up the BDing around ovu time. How do I best approach him about it, without putting pressure on him.
I slept downstairs last night, because I could feel myself getting frustrated about it, he fell asleep and I was wide awake. I would understand if he working, but we just had 2 days off together
Did mention a little of why I was not in bed last night and now he's hardly talking and very quiet.
Oh damn it0 -
