Abis – you are doing a great job updating the lists
I am feeling slightly better, thanks for asking. Great news from the nurse :T.
Lilymay – I am exactly the same re money, OH and I both earn decent salaries but I looooove a bargain. I also don’t read any of the pregnancy threads and I have hidden my friend on facebook as I can’t deal with the weekly update on her baby (she is due a week after I would have been):(.
I am going to try ovulation sticks this month. We should be off on holiday (although not got anything planned due to OH needing to go into hospital for another biopsy) when I ovulate so there should be plenty of time for BDing.
Hugs Maire, sorry to see you back but welcome back (if you get what I mean?!!?!)0 -
Hi all,
Abis your doing a fab job
Grats Binkyboo
Hi Marie, sending good vibes your way
great big hugs and chocolate fudge cakes to people on early CDs
You have been a chatty lot today, can't keep up
Feeling much better here at last, no sign of AF yet but cycles are 25-27.
Tomorrow will be 27, nothing to report. Just that I will change my testing date to thursday. Too scared to test, always seem to test and AF turns up later that day0 -
Hi everyone,
I hope you don't mind if I sneak in. I've been hanging out on the waiting to TTC thread for a while, as the plan was to pay off all our debts and start trying after our second anniversary; but we just can't wait so are in the NTNP camp and are secretly hoping for an 'accident'. I've started temping but really can't get my head around it (using Fertility Friend as an aid) and we're expecting things to take a while as there are issues on my side: eating disorder as a teen leading to really irregular periods / ov, previous mc, bipolar disorder which was treated with valproate which I've obviously had to give up and h/o genetic issues and multiple mc in the family. With all that we're really not sure of how long things will take / if they will happen - but we're only 25 (me) and 29 (him), married in April last year and trying for our first.0 -

So sorry to hear of your loss, maire"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
morning ladies, just to update you all my old blood bleed/discharge has stopped completely now and I have just taken another test with fmu which has given me a stronger second line than yesterday so i guess for the moment anyway it's a keeper. Thanks for all your support in my short time here and i hope that everyone gets their bfp's very soon.0

Hi ladies, does anyone know if there's anything I can take for an upset tummy that is gentle enough for ttc? Got a really busy day at work today so I can't really just take it easy0
-
Hugs Maire, so sorry to see you back on here.
I don't stalk the pregnancy threads (kind of half jealous/half scared as I'd rather go into it all blind, don't want to talk myself out of it by reading about how awful pregnancy and childbirth actually are!)
Lemon, I'm probably very wrong to say it but if I'm not PG I'll take whatever the heck I want to take when I'm feeling ill! I am careful in the 2ww and tend to take Tums if I'm feeling off rather than immediately popping pills, but one or 2 doses of medication before even getting a BFP can't be *that* bad.
Great news about being able to TTC again Abis! :j
Hope your blood tests come back OK Tink and it's just a case of having to wait a little longer for your baby, it'll be worth the wait!
Welcome amyloofoo  Hope you have a happy accident sooner rather than later!
I'm really bloated this week, starting to notice a pattern now that from about CD21 onwards I get a big fat belly!Obviously my body's way of saying, 'This is what you'll look like 12 weeks pregnant... but you're not because here's AF!'
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
hmm duno lemonmelon, they always recommend ginger biscuits for morning sickness, i know it's not the same thing but maybe that would help? or at least give you a placebo which is better than nothing
great news binkyboo, hope this is your forever baby
welcome amy, i'm also trying for my first and married last apriltemping is always confusing at first it think, but then when you get your first Ov and see the temps rise, it's well exciting lol i wouldn't worry too much, as long as you're being intimate every 2-3 days so there's fresh sperm for whenever that elusive eggy shows her face
tinkwings glad they're doing something and at least then you'll know where you stand- if it's just a matter of time or you need more investigations yourself.
can i be cheeky and ask how strong your broodiness is in comparison to trying for your first/second? Mine's ridiculous but i always thought it was because i have no children right now, is it less because you have some satisfaction through your exisiting lovely children or more because you know what you're missing out on?
Hugs to those who have recently lost, i know of plenty of people who get pregnant straight away, i'm pretty much the exception to the rule
and Maire, we have 2 graduates at least, emsbet and Sa-ra-ra who had two losses but now have healthy pregnanciesx x

Hi all! I'm back. Had a very traumatic time last month with mc. Won't go into detail, but had a roller coaster of a pregnancy, full of problems and finally ending with an erpc at 9 weeks (10 days ago).
For the next few cycles I'm takIng a laid back, ntnp approach while we recover from our loss.
I'm not sure how to count my cd after erpc. Took hpt after 1 week, still positive. Will test again on fri and count cd1 from my first negative I think??
Anyway. I'm hoping it's true that months straight after mc are fertile and that, after 2 mcs, it's going to be 3rd time lucky! X
Sorry to hear about your MC.
I did not start counting my CD until after first period, as everyones body acts differently after ERPC/MC etc (I bled for approx 40 days after mine - varying flows - although this may have been longer than usual due to infection after surgery). Trust your instincts and listen to your body.
I was also told that you are more fertile after MC - but don't know how true it is. Sending lots of hugs.2022 Target - Reduce new mortgage balance after house move - Part 1 (Ported) Starting balance £39,982.12 currently £37,242.19 Part 2 Starting Balance £101,997.88 currently £96,197.38 (as at 19/04/2022)0 -
Maire - so sorry about your loss. Big ((hugs)). Welcome back to the thread and I really hope you'll have a BFP very soon and that will be your forever baby.
Tinks - great news that the GP will get the blood tests arranged for you.
amyloofoo - welcome to the thread! Hope you will have a short and sweet stay here, and a 'happy accident' very soon!
Operation BD was a success last nightWe had a lovely date night - drinks at a nice bar and then Pizza Express (with the voucher, not so romantic, but very :money:). DH even said later in the evening (after operation BD!!) that he was finding it much easier not knowing when I am OVing and likes the relaxed approach. Usually we have at least one time where he can't complete due to feeling pressured but that hasn't happened so far this month.
I'm not sure if I OV'd yesterday or not. I had loads of EWCM during the day but by the evening it had completely dried up. It would be early for me to OV on day 17 but maybe the lunaception is doing the trick after all. We'll see...
Have a good day ladies! xx
ETA: Just re-read my post. Since when did it become a major achievement to have sex with one's own husband?!?! What is TTC doing to me??0
