Yes! I know I haven't been trying for all that long, but I do feel a bit like that too sometimes!

((hugs)) tealover - hope it will be your turn VERY soon. Faith and patience.... :)

Hi niknok - the apps can be helpful for keeping track of your cycle, but you will know your body much better than any computer can, so I wouldn't rely on them to tell you when you are ovulating/have ovulated. You might want to try something like checking your cm (cervical mucus) as you can get an idea that ovulation is approaching when you get EWCM (egg white cervical mucus - we're not shy on here about discussing bodily fluids!!!). There's some information on the first page of this thread about cm (and some TMI pics!!)

It can take a while for your cycles to regulate when you first come off the pill, so if you can I would suggest having regular sex (every 2-3 days) and that should give you a good chance of getting pregnant even without tracking ovulation.

There are lots of other things you can do like taking your temperature etc to track ovulation, but for some people that just adds to the pressure.

Hope that helps - feel free to ask any other questions about anything!

Thanks :-) I seem to just have CM all the time, don't remember getting EWCM at all last month. Me and OH bd every 3 days at least but last month we went a whole week without BDing and when counting back from AF they was when I oved!

Last cycle was 39 days and really hope this one is a bit shorter! Is it possible to OV at like CD12? Because I was surprised at the pains I got at cd12 which I think was the day I oved. Don't want to be temping and stuff but if by Xmas I haven't had a BFP I'll have to wait until 2014 :-( got a big holiday next year which I can't miss.

Aww Tealover, you'll get your BFP soon! I get what you mean though... starting to feel that way myself! :o

Congratulations though Binky! Hopefully we'll all meet again on the pregnancy threads! :)

ETA: Where's your big holiday next year Niknok? :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Niknok - there's plenty of time for a BFP before Christmas :D

You can OV on CD12, if you did then AF should show up about 14 days later (could be few days either side of that). Hopefully AF won't show up again and you'll be pregnant :) but if it does, then I would go for it every 2-3 days throughout the cycle, that way you don't have to worry about OV dates etc :)

Obviously I don't want to go on about it, but I have seriously got the most EWCM I've ever had in my life!!!!!!!!!!!! Although I am doing 'relaxed ttc' this month I have been doing the lunaception thing, I quite like the eye mask these days. I stopped sleeping with it on on Saturday and have spent lots of time outside, and with all this EWCM now I can't help but think there could be something in it.......

DH and I are going on a 'date' tonight, out for dinner, so I'm hoping the date will get him in the mood.

Right, now where's that nice underwear/perfume... :rotfl:

It's for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary and it could be anywhere. We have been planning it for over a year now but are still to finalise destination. X

I think I'll hold off testing until about the 10th August then if I happened to OV today or tomorrow I might still get a BFP! Fingers crossed!
