*delurks* sorry ladies, I find it very difficult to catch up on phone and rarely use my laptop :-(

Just getting all confused by this TTC malarky. I have 2 apps on my phone tracking my period etc and one said I oved last Monday, which was actually the day I felt twinges but the other one says
I OV tomorrow. I'm now 9 weeks off the pill and have had 1 withdrawal bleed and a AF. So basically what I'm wondering is when should test? Do I just hold out for AF even though I have no ideas when I'm due.

    Thanks everyone.

Binky - I was just about to reply telling you that I had a lot of brown spotting last month along with 2 days of light red flow - very unusal for me. I googled alot and convinced myself I was pg as that does seem to be common among some women got their BPF, obviously that wasn't the case for me but it seems to be for you. A line is a line - congrats! :j

Hope you feel better soom LilyMay1 x

Hugs to all those on CD1 and yay for all the PMA!

I'm excited because before I went to bed last night I noticed a lot of EWCM and some this morning too - this is a first for me! :j

Hi niknok - the apps can be helpful for keeping track of your cycle, but you will know your body much better than any computer can, so I wouldn't rely on them to tell you when you are ovulating/have ovulated. You might want to try something like checking your cm (cervical mucus) as you can get an idea that ovulation is approaching when you get EWCM (egg white cervical mucus - we're not shy on here about discussing bodily fluids!!!). There's some information on the first page of this thread about cm (and some TMI pics!!)

It can take a while for your cycles to regulate when you first come off the pill, so if you can I would suggest having regular sex (every 2-3 days) and that should give you a good chance of getting pregnant even without tracking ovulation.

There are lots of other things you can do like taking your temperature etc to track ovulation, but for some people that just adds to the pressure.

Hope that helps - feel free to ask any other questions about anything!
