When looking at OPK's does the test line have to be darker or as dark as the control line to be a +? Just done one and the test line is just slightly paler than the control, but theres not much in it.

QQ - have everything crossed for those two eggs

Vesper - about your roof! Thank goodness it's a rented property so it's not up to you to get it fixed. Hope all is ok soon!

Fannyanna - hope the doc will give you something to get AF started. sending ((hugs)) for the long cycle, hope you can get going with Clomid or something similar soon

Lilymay - ((hugs)) for the bad day you are having. In the nicest way possible, pleeeaase step away from the tests! It's probably still too early to get a BFP if you are pregnant. Hope your day has improved!

atton - I agree, the law degree sounds great! Good luck!

Big ((hugs)) to all who need them :o

Hi amus - the test line needs to be either darker than, or as dark as, the control line. If it's lighter than the control then it's a negative.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks, I thought it was probably a bit early to get a positive! Does the line getting darker mean you are getting close to ov?

    Waiting for results again :(:(:(

They have had to retest them this week, so not going to get them til tomorrow afternoon. When they retest them it usually means that the result is outside of their normal 'expected' range. Which means either a big drop or a rise - and given that my levels were almost at normal and that last week's drop wasn't very good, I can't help but think it might mean a rise :(:(:(:(:(:( Its gonna be a looooonnnnnggggggg day waiting for them :o

Was going to go to zumba tonight - but can't help but think that chocolate and wine would be more suited! Specially as I have had a rubbish day on top of the results worry!!

    Congratulations to Penguin :j:j:j:j

Lilymay - Any news? Peed on any more sticks??

Becca - Yayyyy for the +ve OPK. I'm of the opinion that another cheeky BD can never harm you if OH is willing.

Fannyanna - Is there a reason that you aren't ovulating? Are they waiting for you to lose weight before they put you on clomid or similar, or have you not been in to see them yet?

Vesper - Yayyyy for the offer on the house being accepted!! :j:j I can't work out where you live tho

Oh - I got DH an anniversary present btw - was delivered today and its FAB, I like it lots :Dhttp://www.gonedigging.co.uk/unusual-gifts/love-and-romance-gifts/a-love-book-from-me-to-you/ Hope DH likes it too. Got some other little bits and am going to cook a 3 course meal on monday (our actual anniversary). We're going away in the motorhome for 2 nights this weekend which I am looking forward to as well :D
 Married my lobster in July 2011

TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait :o

 2013 is going to be our lucky year

LoL. You're so sweet, most people would just tell me off and call me an fhecking idiot (like my husband).

My day did improve thankfully although DS came home from nursery with 3 accident forms  1) He was bitten by another child 2) He fell over and banged his arm and 3) "A mark appeared on his head". Seriously unhappy about the last one. He has quite a significant bump and a large cut (about 2cm in length) and none of the staff know how it happened. When I arrived they initially claimed it was there when my husband dropped him off! After my "talk" with the manager, I think my name has been blacklisted :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

In all serious though, kids have accidents, they bite each other, they fall over...I know that....but to try and claim he didn't cry after getting such a gash on his head is beyond belief. What the hell am I paying them for if they don't watch him :mad:

Still no AF, or any AF cramps. I don't know what I felt this morning but it only lasted a couple of hours. Not felt them since and they wern't the usual pre-af cramps. Will my period be a lot heavier if it arrives as my cycle has been nearly a week longer than usual so far?

    Vesper -
So glad your roof is nearly sorted, that sounds horrendous! I hope I don't ever get a DIY skylight!

Amus - As MrsJ said, the line needs to be as dark as, or darker than, the control line. But if it's near as damn it you may have just missed the peak, or may be just before it so BD!!

MrsJ - How are things for you? Have you ov'ed yet?

Fanny - I will stop complaining about me being on CD33 after seeing you are nearly CD100 :eek::eek: It feels wrong saying it, but wishing AF for you soon!

QQ - Any news on your eggies? Just out of interest, why don't they implant any sooner than Dec?

Abis - No more peeing. I promise. Keep up the PMA about your results - could it be that they are just double checking something?

LilyMay - good luck with not peeing on anything for a few days!!!! My period is usually the same whenever it arrives, sometimes my cycles are 30 days and sometimes as long as 48, but I always seem to have AF for about two-three days followed by a couple of days of spotting.

Sorry to hear about DS's incidents at nursery, hope he is ok!

Thanks for asking - I'm doing ok, CD4 for me today. But it hopefully means I ovulated around CD 23, I think that might be why I had a high LH level on my CD22 blood results! Just waiting for a scan date to have my ovaries scanned to check for PCOS now.

If I ov around the same time this cycle, it'll be when we're on our romantic mini break, yay!! I'm not temping or doing OPKs this cycle in the name of trying to be relaxed... :)

ETA - p.s. I find it useful to have a combination of people in my life who call me a fhecking idiot as well as people who hug me and tell me it'll all be ok. We all need a slap from time to time :D

abis - ((Hugs)) hope you don't have to wait too long for the results and it's a good result. Love the book you've got for your DH, so sweet, and hope you have a great couple of days in the motorhome! What are you going to cook on your anniversary?
