    I've been Money Tipped!
    Congratulations Penguin!

Wow Vesper, what a hectic few days! Hope it all gets fixed and everything calms down for you.

I spent yesterday out shopping for honeymoon, spent a fortune on nice holiday clothes :)
No sign of ov for me but there's always next month (or this month, but really hoping it's not a hugely long cycle!). Going to take soy next month if this month is unsuccessful.

Oh vesper that sounds so stressful, hope you have a better day today and enjoy your babysitting :)

Hugs for cd1 code and Helen, hope you manage to do something nice and make up for it?

Lily still got my fingers very crossed for you
definitely blonde my pma also only comes now and then. I freely like after the first mc I just picked up and got on with it and 3 months after the 2nd I still feel horrid :(

Abis that's good about chatting with the nurse about ttc,its good they are so supportive and hopefully the counseling will help you a bit deal with the emotional /mental side of it rather than just the physical. Thinking of you

QQ I really hope your eggs make it, I hope you're feeling a bit better. YAY for seeing dh today though -think you deserve a big hug

Atton, that's the downside of temping - it doesn't tell you you've ov'd until 3 days after! Opks took me a wee while to get used to, to know when to test and how to read the results

I'm quite enjoying the cbfm this month, still on low but its nice nit having to squint at a line and I'm excited for when it changes :)

Can I ask a quick question about smears, I've got one booked for Tuesday but I'm hoping to have ov'd by then but only a couple of days before, will that be ok? I figure even if we are successful the egg would still be floating around somewhere having a wee snooze but if someone could confirm that would be great otherwise I'll end up worrying!

vesper - that sounds awful! Hope it all's sorted soon. (((hugs)))
QQ - fingers v tightly crossed for your eggs x.
    penguin - congratulations!!
definitely blonde - hope you find some PMA. It's tough isn't it. I think sometimes 'allowing' yourself to have a bad day can help, if that makes sense.
razwaz - hope the check up goes ok and the surgery was a success.

AFM, I think we're out this month as tbh I can't be bothered. I'm on CD18 and usually ov sometimes in the 20s, but I haven't remembered to temp once. Been temping for months no problem but just can't get back into it this cycle. Plus I have yet another UTI, OH has man-flu and is sulking a bit about the low sperm count results, and I managed to sunburn my whiplashed neck lol. So overall we're just not in the mood.

On the plus side I should get my metformin prescription today, and then the clomid next week. So I think we'll just wait this cycle out then start again next time with the new regime in place.

For some reason my phone won't let me see anyone elses posts so I'm sorry if I have missed any exciting news.

I am having such a rubbish day. I did an IC this morning and a line appeared after about 2 minutes. It's really really faint, and I don't know whether its grey or pink, but it was there. So I did another IC (my last 1), which again, had this dodgy looking line.
I got a bit excited and nipped into superdrug on the way to work and got 2 x 2 pack's on their own brand...did one in work....couldn't see a line through the stupid plastic window so took the test apart and I am sure I could see a very very very very very faint pink line.

But, I am feeling more emotional than I can ever remember, my temp dropped this morning and I've been getting some dodgy cramps since I woke up. I'm literally in floods of tears and I have no idea why. I'm sat crying even as I'm typing this. My boss thinks something terrible has happened and my colleagues are all on eggshells around me.

Sorry for such a whinging post, I just feel horrendous and I have no idea why. I'm about 80% sure I'm not pregnant, but I don't know what's going on with my cycles and my emotions are worse than a rollercoaster.

I also shouted at my neighbours cat this morning. I think I am going insane.

Edit: I've also been getting lots of creamy coloured ewcm. Is this normal? I remember Nicki saying ewcm went cloudy after ovualtion, but there's just quite a lot of it.

Lemonmelon: i believe you should be fine as the spectrum doesnt go up that high. Obviouslly your having the nurse do it, when you get in the room talk to the nurse before she does everything. I normally do. Yiu should also get a plastic not a metal spectrum if your having it done at docs surgery if its at hospital it will be metal and cold sorry nothing they can do about that

My opks came up with a faint second line twice but no proper second line so i don't think my lg is high enough so gonna try more garlic and egg whites as i already eat sweet potatoes. I se them for mash as there creamier and i can't get enough of them

The opks im using are onestop ovulation test by aidediagnostic co limited

I started on one at 6pm didnt know about the not drinking for 2 hrs before temping till i was 3 days into them and then i wasnt drinking or peein for 2 hrs b4 i tested which got me to the loo dancing by then so i will try them next cycle and go from there. When we got a faint line we bd. We bd on the day i ov but not two before and were doing it every other day as we know his count aint good

I voiced my concerns yesterday about how i feel im doing everything and he cant be bothered to go for his tests till after october. His reply no point going for a test now as tgey will only want to test again and i can't help whats in my head which infuriated me so an argument ensued grrrrr

Also wont know about the last of the money to pay for the wedding till the end of this month and thats making me unable to sleep more than 4 hrs a night

I start the ball rolling on my law degree with the ou this month as the course is £4,000 a module eek

I wanted to do pyschology but the places were all full so im thinking i do law then do my prefered subject. Pppfffttt to my dad telling me i wud never ammount to much

Thanks to all those that have helped me this month im sorry for all the stupid questions. Just need reassurance that im doing things right

When i did know about the two hrs i was doing two opks a day and still no full second line which the packet and you guys said was a negative but i can't be negative all the time can i?

Sorry for the two posts but i forget what i want to say otherwise

Lillymay huge hugs try not to stress too much i know easier said than done but that will hinder your judgement. Take a pic of all tests later for us to see if you can and we will try to help

Tealover forget temping this cycle and try to start again with postit notes all round the house to remind you or set an alarm with the title temp now. Maybe that will help you remember

    Congrats to the bfp

Hugs to your ceiling falling in least you had a free skylight for a few days but glad ur water tight again

Aw lilymay, take it easy on yourself. And remember it has to be at least 3 days after implantation for it to show up on a blood test and a few more days for a stick test. Testing yourself now when you ov so late is not going to give you any answers. But poundshop were doing 2 tests for a pound last month if you really must!

Our cycles are a worry with this late ov thing but we are now armed with loads of info ww didnt have before and this is a great place to share what works and what doesnt. Next cycle is completely different from the ones that went before because we are now armed with soya and b6 and progesterone hopefully.

Big hugs, some days it just all gets overwhelming xx

Hi everyone, i just needed to let out some feelings and thought this thread would be ideal!

I had one of the first chats with my boyfriend last night about our feelings towards starting our own family. I'm nearly 26 and i told him that i would like to start trying when i'm 28.5 (i know that sounds a bit exact!) A part of me can't wait to have my own children, but i feel this huge pressure to start earlier than i probably would like to because my family have such a bad track record of conceiving!
It took my mum a few years to have my brother, and then 13 years of trying/failed fertility treatment to have me. She was 40 at that point, and while i feel older parents are brilliant, there are some downsides and i would like to be younger when i have mine.

I know that the same thing may not happen to me, but in my late teens/early twenties i spent 5 years with my ex using no protection what so ever... that may be lucky (definitely stupid) but in my head its proof things are probably not going to be easy!

I think the chat we had freaked me out a bit and i need someone to say it will be fine!! You can still go to india and travel a bit and that even though i've never held a baby standing up i will be ok! Have/are any of you been in a similar position?
