Grr iPad just crashed and lost a massive post but just to say that whilst it was the most undignified experience of my life, the HyCoSy was not in any way painful and my tubes 'are fine' so as long as the metformin keeps doing it's job, it's just a matter of time :):)
I asked about intercourse and she said I don't need to wait so as there's a chance I'll ovulate soon I think I'll make sure DH has a nice wake up tomorrow ;) x x

That's brilliant news! Fingers crossed it's sooner rather than later :)

I've been googling about short LP's and there are so many 'success' stories of people conceiving so perhaps I just need to chillax a bit.

MrsJ - How long after your bloods did you get the results? Was it just a case of phoning up to ask?

Sorry about my earlier rant, think PMT reared it's ugly head. It's just really got me as I refuse to go to the doctors at the best of times, hubby only gets me to go as I've had the same actual doctor for so so long.
I just don't trust another doctor and especially don't want to talk to some locum (which is all our village docs have) about finding out why we aren't conceiving.
I also don't get why it's perfectly ok to sign onto the next nearest doctors which is 8 miles away, but can't stay at the one that's 10 miles away.
Our village doctors' is horrific, it's so bad, my friend goes there and comes out every time crying, as the staff are so horrid. So don't really wish to talk about fertility as they are likely to say no to any kind of help. Doesn't help mentally that it was that doctors that didn't pick up on the fact that my mil was seriously ill despite her going in every week for 6 months. They said it was a stomach bug and wouldn't send her for tests. She transfered to another doctors for them to instantly send her for tests, where it was discovered she had double lung cancer, stomach cancer and double breast cancer, a few months later she was dead.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

I just phoned up the GP surgery after a couple of days.

I think chillaxing sounds like a good plan :)

Good news about the HyCoSy TeamLowe! Hope it's helped kick start something and you get PG this cycle! :)

LilyMay, you really go have to chill! You know you can get PG, your body is maybe just sending you signals that it would like a little rest after more or less back-to-back pregnancies. Just go with the flow and step away from Google! :)

Hugs for CD1 COMP :( I'm expecting AF to arrive on Friday. Woke up with lower back pain and I'm really bloated so I think that it's on track. Sigh.

Sorry about the hoo-hah with the doctor's Vesper. You're not having the best week are you? :( I didn't know they were so particular. I was under the impression that they'd changed the rules so you could choose your GP even if they weren't the closest, must have got my wires crossed! I had to move my GP when I moved towns, but I did it off my own back for logistical reasons more than anything else. I've only seen one doctor in the practice who actually impressed me and made me feel like he was genuinely listening to what I had to say without dismissing it as 'one of the things'... and he's left now! Boo :(
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

teamlowe - glad the hycosy went well. Hopefully it will kickstart things into action for you this month.
vesper - that really sucks. Do you think if you spoke to the GP again they might reconsider?
    comp - big CD1 hugs x.
lilymay - chillaxing sounds like a great idea... for all of us!
maire - take care sweetie. Look after yourself xx.

I don't know if it's hormones or if I'm just a b*tch but I'm all over the place atm. I feel like everyone that opens their mouth at work is just here to annoy me. I know I'm being rude to people but I can't stop myself. Then at the same time I'm really over-emotional and keep welling up about stupid things (including TV adverts, and the thought of the seaside :o). Am only on CD4 so no idea what is happening with my hormones!
