Tinkwings, brilliant cup cakes:cool: Just out of curiosity, and it's not like I'm planning to be a mum or anything:D, but does one have to bake cup cakes etc if their kids go to school? Can one buy them instead?

Oh God, something else to worry about! I don't remember my Mum ever baking cakes for school fairs etc, think everything came from M&S! ;) My friend is an amazing baker (owns a cafe!) so I plan on asking her for lessons, maybe by the time Junior is 5 I'll have mastered a decent sponge! :o

Hi ladies. Thank you for your kind thoughts over the last few horrible days.

I'm not going to be ttc for a while. I can't take it! I need to let myself heal and I need a step back from all the obsession I put myself through before.

I wish every one of you all the luck in the work for your future families. I know we will all have beautiful babies one day and all the stress will be worth it!

Thanks for looking after me through 25(!) ttc cycles and 2 mcs.

Quick question about OPKs, I've read that you should use them between 2-8pm for best results, is that based on what time you get up? Just wondering if I wake up late do I need to use it later in the day?
LH surges in the afternoon after seeing sunlight or something like that. I'd take it later in the day if you are up late.

For me though (up at 7:30am), I had best results just before bed:o I've tested first thing in the morning -opk, then blood test 2 hrs later at the clinic and it was +. So I'd assume it takes time for LH to come into the urine.

I am so sorry Skint! Life can be so cruel.
Well I am out for a couple of months I think, as I had to see a consultant about my broken wisdom tooth and they can't fit me in until August 21st! And they are very keen to make sure I am not pregnant for the procedure, so should take myself out for a couple of months. I am sad as I am in pain all day and night and now i also have to put on hold ttc. So a bit of a poo day for me, but then I am still lucky!

Thanks ladies I will remain lurking and posting every so often.

can safely say that I won't be having a fertility chat with the doctors for a very long time. OH phoned for an appointment, and instead of getting me and appointment he has lost me a doctors.
When I moved in with him I didn't alter my doctors so therefore have been under my old one about 10 miles from here, I trust them and my doctor has been my doctor for my entire life. Hubby then tells them that I've moved and they have said that I can't be with them anymore and have to sign up to my new village's doctors. No way!!!

So now with out a doctor and won't know the truth. Think it's about time we gave up.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

lilymay, LP of 10 days is perfectly fine:)

    :T

I know, but mine arn't 10 days! They're 7 or 8 depending on whether my cycle is 28 or 29 days! lol.

Vesper - Doctors are a RIGHT PITA when it comes to addresses. I got kicked out of my old doctors when DS was 5 weeks old and he ended up missing his first set of immunisations. (He wasn't able to have the first ones until he was nearly 15 weeks by the time it all got sorted) Heads rolled that day :mad::mad:

Marie - Huge hugs and I wish you all the best. We will all be here to support you in anyway we can when you decide you are ready again xx

  • Vesper - I am in a similar situation. I have been using my Mum's address for a while but had to come clean when I had my mc as the hospital had my real address (not sure how). I need to think about registering with a doctor that is closer as when I have a baby I will want my doctor to be close by.

((Hugs)) to those who need one
