Tuesday evening i received aunt flow but i still went to the doc who tested me for a urine infection but not for pregnancy. I still have my belly and my tiredness. V sensitive nipples and weird emotions. I got really worried as i have had clotting. He gave me pills for a urine infection which he said i didn't have and a friend of mine who has kids said to go get a preg test n do it myself. I am not sure if i should waste as i don't get pregnant.
Maybe i should give up all together and stay away from people with kids from now on. Feeling very disheartened as even my sister who realised she was a lesbian had two kids and i can't even get one.
Ive had the faith that i will get there for 11 years. I had a hellish childhood myself so why am i being punished???
Should i do the test or just ignore my expanding belly even after being told from my nutritionalist id lost weight. Should i just carry on exercising and forget ever thinkinh i could b a mom? Am i flogging a dead horse as people who arnt even trying get there and im nrly 30 n still on the shelf when it comes to kids
Maybe i should leave this forum too as i feel im not worthy to be here as i tried the ov sticks b4 n they didnt work for me
    Sorry for bugging you all

    QQ - good luck today!

Starry and MrsL - welcome! My DH and I decided in April that I should come off the pill and 'wait and see what happens'...I was mildly obsessed within about a week!! This thread has been great for info and others in the same situation, esp as no one knows we're ttc.

Flee - how frustrating, keeping my fingers crossed for you :o

I read a good book on my kindle last night think it was called 'The Impatient Woman's Guide to Getting Pregnant' or something similar. Can't remember who wrote it but can find out if anyone's interested. It's quite funny in parts with lots of good advice, nice and short - I read it in about 2 hours. She takes a lot of the things you hear about ttc and compares studies to give a good answer as to whether or not the advice you hear is true or just a myth. Hope that makes sense - rambling a bit I know!!

I can't remember who on hear mentioned the Fifty Shades of Grey book? But it sounded good so I bought it last night sounds like a good read.

Hope you all have a good day x

Flee - did you say you did a digi and it was BFN? Btw, what's TLP? Good luck for the doc's today - i hope you get some answers.

*RANT ALERT* I'm feeling really flat today. I'm about 95% sure I am going to need some assistance getting pregnant. My LP seems to be 8 days, my temp hadn't gone up this morning when I woke up at 6am, but had at 7:50am so i used that one. Does progesterone cream need to be on prescription? Can you buy it over the counter from anywhere? I just feel really angry, frustrated, upset and hopeless about TTC :(

QQ - Thinking of you today. Good luck with the test.

Morning ladies and welcome to the newbies

Hugs for Teamlowe and any other CD1 peeps out there :A

Flee what type of test did you do this morning? Some of the sensitivities are different on different types of test.

Nikola - I think the only way to set your mind at rest will be to do a test. Your not bugging anyone by being here, so feel free to hang round and post whenever you like. Its a confusing time when your body does things differently from what you are expecting. Hope you find the answers soon :A

AFM - had an excellent jubilee weekend. The motorhome looked amazing being decorated in red, white and blue - and now I want to decorate it every time we go away with bunting and flowers and things! Haha, DH will not be amused :rotfl: We saw one of the beacons being lit and there was a little party at the campsite. I painted DD's face and she was very union jack'y. It was fab :j

Feeling a little low after coming back tho as DD is back to her dads now, and I got a letter saying that they were concerned over my HCG levels being high after the ERPC so I have to go on weekly testing instead of fortnightly. Its soooooo wierd having to wish for pregnancy levels to come downwards and wanting a BFN. :( Sooner it comes down tho, sooner I can go into countdown for trying again tho.

Aw hugs Lilymay, sorry you're feeling low.

I don't know anything about progesterone cream but I've heard vitamin B6 helps lengthen LP. Also LP is common if you've just come off hormonal contraceptives or recently stopped breastfeeding. LP should lengthen over a few months as your cycle settles down.

TTC is really hard at times, kind of takes over life and makes me feel sooo out of control.

A TLP is a tiny light positive, which is when you only get a pale line on a pregnancy test in the very early days instead of more 'positive' line.

Don't be too sad about it all Lilymay, I know its a long hard journey at times tho and very lonely at times too :( You probably won't be able to use this cycle's temping as an accurate reflection as you were ill - so I would try not to look into the LP days etc at the mo. I wouldn't go buying progesterone cream etc until you know a little more about your body. Its not going to be too helpful self medicating your cycles, when you don't really understand them all properly - as you might be medicating incorrectly. I'm not trying to be patronising or anything - I know it sucks to wait it out and its the most frustrating thing in the world when its something you want so much but can do little to control when it happens. :o:o

This is so true. I think I jumped into trying agnus castus without really understanding my cycles and it may have messed them up even more.

All these things (progesterone, AC, etc) can be really helpful in some cases, but I think we can all jump the gun a bit at times.

    Big hugs lily.
