where does everyone get their clearblue monitors and sticks from?
I can't remember where I got the monitor from, but if you are lucky, there sometimes are cheap ones at Superdrugs.

As for the sticks, I get them from Homehealth or Amazon when it's cheap:
    http://www.homehealth-uk.com/medical/clearblue.html
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Clearblue-81104584-Fertility-Monitor/dp/B0012PB8EO/ref=pd_sim_sbs_d_1
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Clearblue-Fertility-Monitor-Test-Sticks/dp/B0012PFG0Q/ref=pd_sim_d_1

Don't forget the batteries (AAA ones like the TV remote).

Interesting story on Daily Mail about fertility being improved by Soya Oil and egg yolks:

 Pity it has to be done via a drip:o
But I may go buy some eggs and soy milk anyway:D

Just had a bit of a shock in the toilet (sorry - that sounds wrong!)

When I wiped there was sort of very pale brown-ish CM. I wouldn't describe it as spotting, but it's the sort of thing I usually get a day or so before AF turns up. Am only 8DPO at the most, maybe only 7. Also feel sort of crampy/rumbly.
Pale brownish cm at 8DPO sounds promising:cool:

    what is implantation bleed
Embryos usually implant around 6-10 dpo, and when it burrows into the uterus, it can bleed. The bleed usually comes out few days later as brown or pinkish spotting:cool:

It can also be just one of those random spotting/rough BD/low progesterone:o

Where are all the May BFPS???? I thought we were due a bumper month :(
Perhaps we are saving that for June (like me:D)
I am feeling a bit deflated today :( I am not even sure if I have ov'ed or not. I dont seem to get any EWCM (white stuff yes but never clear or strechy). I think I used to get some, (not loads, but some) but have not found any the last few months at all. Also I dont seem to get positives on OPK's (they are ic's) I think I got positives the first couple of months I used them, now they just never get that dark (but I only do one a day at around 6pm - and its often not that concentrated despite not drinking for a couple of hours) But I do have very regular 28 or 29 day cycles and only a little AF cramping (but not mega uncomfortable). I dont suppose theres any way of knowing without blood tests or temping.......
Does the opk lines ever get darker?
And what does your instinct tell you?
My OPKs usually go positive just before bed:o
Do you think I should give it a go even if Im going to be waking up at different times between 4.00am and 7.30am??
You can try and see if it works or not:o

FF indicator say fertile - I thought you are suppose to be fertile before ovulation.

or do we need to do more BD ing -:)

    Thanks
You can never BD too much:D
It can get the blood pumping to where it needs to be:cool:
Hope the temp goes back up tomorrow:)

I'm 14 dpo today and CD 31. Not testing till next week as usually AF comes at 18 dpo so it's too early.
    Fingers crossed:)

tattoo - I did wonder about implantation bleeding but it didn't seem to fit what I was reading about. Plus I thought QQ would really tell me off for ss then!:rotfl:

Stomach feels weird - like a mix between AF cramps, that sort of washing-machine feeling you get with an upset stomach and stitch.
    No SSing:naughty:
    You'll drive yourself mad.

    Thanks

blacksta - i think it takes 3 days for FF to confirm ovulation as it has to see 3 days of raised temps, until then, based on other data (CM etc) it says you are still fertile. I have read about people conceiving by BDing the day of the temp rise, but i think from the day after that you are def not able to conceive til next cycle. But as they always say, if in doubt, BD! And I have to say I am really impressed at the interest you are taking in the mechanics (other than BDing!) of conceiving a baby!

Thanks all, feeling a lot better about missing our BD last night, DH is working from home today and had a good chat with him about it. He wants me to do what Ive been avoiding doing which is to tell him way in advance of the BD days, hmm maybe we will give that a shot. Maybe I have been trying to shoulder it all myself and I should just give him some of the control.

On the upside, I just went to the loo and EWCM! Im amazed, and my temps are confusing me, im not sure if i have ovulated yet, even though i am a regular on CD13/14 (its CD15 now!). If DH is able, might try and get a wild card BD in :o Maybe its down to the acupuncture yesterday, have messed with my cycle a bit??

tealover, that sounds just like implantation bleeding, fingers crossed, though dont SS, cos I had 'implantation pains' that woke me up in the middle of the night on 8DPO one cycle, and it turned out to be nothing. But keep PMA!
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

My DH needs advance notice too, so I usually tell him when I get +OPK and Peak CBFM.

We BD only once on Peak, and not on other days as DH needs to save up for at least 5 days to perform. No wonder we decided to go the IVF route:undecided

Thanks QQ - June is definately going to be the bumper month!! the longest day of the year is in June..... that must have some magical positive impact on fertility.... pma.....pma.....

The OPKs do get darker although they are not always light and getting darker each day then getting lighter, they are just a bit random and go from darker to lighter and back to darker again. I dont really know what my insticts are saying, I never get any ov pains or anything, but as my AF is so regular I guess I should believe all is well in there. Maybe I should try some EPO or something to see if I can magic up a bit of EWCM ...... off to google about CM.... perhaps not while I am at work though lol

If theres no BFP this month I'm buying a thermometer and giving this temping and FF a try!
If at first you dont succeed, try, try again

I just realised.... the absence of EWCM and the non positive OPKs coincide with starting to take Pregnacare conception multi vits..... could the vitamins have something to do with it?

Also anyone else noticed they have bright neon yellow pee when taking the Pregnacare tabs?

Just coming out of lurkdom to say that my OPKs never went dark but as soon as there was a faint line I took that as a positive. I was temping at the time and it matched what my temps and EWCM was doing too.

Off back to lurkdom but before I go lots of sticky baby dust to all.

QQ - Thanks - we managed to get another BD in just now, FX its not just post ov EWCM, which I know some people get but I havent before..

I was avoiding telling DH about ov days cos I thought it would be more relaxed, less like baby making and more like real sex, and less pressure on him to perform, but I think my DH likes to know in advance and then just get his head down and get on with it. I guess people prefer different things.

Anyway, this way I can share the burden as I do get stressy about how DH will be feeling coming up to ov days but I havent shared with him why..

rumfeeble, I have been taking EPO for this cycle, and I dont know if its that or the acupuncture but I have had 4 days of EWCM as opposed to 2 or 3, so maybe it is helping! And would def recommend temping, though dont bother during AF and after ov is confirmed. It is reassuring to know that you have ovulated and when!

I take pregnacare conception - which ones are you taking? I havent noticed neon pee :rotfl: my pee is always too light and dilute and OPKs just dont work with me, though make sure you are doing the test right, ie after 10am, dont drink for 2 hours etc as I was doing some of these things wrong..

Same here kitten pie - usually my OPKs are completely blank but when I see a faint line I took that as probably positive. Perhaps our pees are too dilute!

Just make sure no-one at work can see your monitor:p
EPO,grapefruit juice or cough syrup (without decongestant) may work:)
