Hugs Mogwai, I feel your pain! We've never managed more than every other day over my most fertile time because OH just plain can't do it any more. :( Feels a bit pointless, we're the ones tracking CDs and CM and taking temps and supplements... and on the day we need them to do something they say, 'Not tonight darling, I'm tired' and that's it over, we're out for another month! :(

Sorry you couldn't eat your goodies Tink, they did look delicious. You'll just have to make another batch when you can chew! ;)

Talking of baking, we're having an office bake-off next Thursday! It has to be something savoury though so I'm a bit stuck other than the obvious cheese scone.

I feel so sorry for you poor ladies having to work 13 hour shifts! I complain if I have to work 9, I'm very spoilt! :o
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Tinks - that's pants! Can't believe you had to resist.

Mogwai - we never manage 3 days in a row unless we're on holiday. I've learnt not to pressure him tbh cos if I try for more than every other day he then fails and then we have big rows and don't do any BD'ing. People get pg on a 1 night stand so I'm sure every other day is enough!

I'll raise you a 13 hour day - in Aug/Sept I do 14 - 18 hour days 7 days a week. I'm a farmer. But then to be fair, I do have Dec, Jan and Feb pretty much off!

Morning ladies - happy friday to you all!! Don't really have anything planned for the weekend other than some boring housework but it's still a LOT better than being at work.

Birdie85 - I love cheese scones. Am hungry already today.
mogwai - it's so frustrating isn't it. We do all the hard work all month and they can't even manage their tiny bit of "input". I really tried this time not to get stroppy with OH but I swear he's a total PITA at ov on purpose.
tinkwings - hope you get to eat some of your lovely baking soon.
secretdebts & tattoo - hugs for the long shifts. They sound horrible.

7 or 8 DPO today (still can't make my mind up) and after a great start my PMA is slipping a bit. Have that slightly rumbly sort of pre-AF feeling. Also have sore boobs which can go either way. So basically I need to stop SS'ing before the wagging finger comes out and actually do some work!

I got the finger!! As it were :rotfl:

Ok, today's stupid question for you all..... when is pg counted from if you have long cycles? I know they usually use LMP but with long cycles that wouldnt' really work. Do they just use LMP until your the dating scan and then change it?

Midwifes and doctors will always use your LMP, sometimes you might stubble upon one that will listen to the patient and alter it but they are pretty rare ;)

The LMP is only used until the scan, they then use that date to be the final one.

There are a few downsides to this system, people with long cycles being one of them. I think as the only problem it can cause is to date you further along then you actually are its not worth worrying about as all the important dates and milestones come after the dating scan.

    CD2 today. For sure :(

Just ordered a CBFM and a 20 pack of sticks. Came to £85 or so. No point working like a dog if you can't spend any of the rewards eh? I may need someone to give me a crash course on it!

Hope everyone else is okay. I'm really sorry I've been so rubbish lately - I just don't have the time to do anything. I am off this weekend *YAY* so will try to be a bit more active on here.

Do we have any BFP's? Is anyone testing soon?

Oh, and my midwives/doc/consultants always used a 28 day cycle initially (even though mine were always 25 days). All it meant was that I was put forward at the scan (which is always nice :))

Secrets - I have the worst travel sickness in the world. I vommitted twice on my last train ride :o

    Hugs to all xxx
