forgot to say I've never heard of having a period that's less than 5 days full flow being a problem. Mine certainly was less than that before I conceived (more like 3 days with a day or two of spotting). I know having very light, short periods can be an indication of a problem but thought 3-5 days was average.

Mine used to be about 7 days of full flow and 3 days of tint when I was implanon, so I just took her word as gospel.

I feel my life is in 2 week blocks atm, trying time and patience time. Could end up wishing my life away at this rate!

Don't wish your life away, make sure you fill it up with something worthwhile (holidays?:p) while TTC:cool:

It keeps your mind off TTC as well:)
  • Hi - cm question coming up. I've tried googling it but no answers lol. How long does the creamy stage ( the one before the egg white) usually last? I know it means that ovulation is nearing but nowhere says how long this stage typically lasts! OPKs are still showing negative.

It could be undiluted version of ewcm, so make sure you drink a lot of water:)

Can i go slightly off topice for a moment.... Obviously we are TTC and I want a family more than anything but what is everyone's plans with regards to working and childcare, personally I would place my child into childcare after my mat leave so I can go back to work, this would be 9am - 6pm, however what would happen when they start nursery/school and finish at 3pm???? Just a thought that crossed my mind and am curious as to what your plans would be. I have no family who live locally so would not be able to get family to help out

I'll need to work full time after maternity leave so baby will be with a childminder full time.

When they start nursey/school they'll have to go to the childminder on a part time basis.

If we have twins I have no idea what we'll do as childcare for one child would be £850-£900 per month and there's no way we could afford care for two.

What worries me is that there's twins in both my family and my Husband's family and the way things are going I'm probably going to need clomid which means there is a risk of multiples - eek!
