Be thinking of you BigZippy, she was very lucky to have a daughter in law like you x x

Squirrel, short engagements are better i think. mine was two years and it just dragged, once you've made all the decisions you just want to get on with booking and paying :)

Mrsj28 i don't know much about cervixs but pictures i've seen are smooth :o maybe you could ring nhsdirect? pretty sure they're trained nurses so can give you a quick 'no that's still within the realms of normal/yes you should have it checked out'

although, is it there all the time? maybe it's like getting lumps in your ladies just before AF and it's a hormonal oddity

hope it's nothing for you though x x

Fingers crossed you can slip under the GP radar TTC40. I assume you have no other reasons why you shouldn't conceive? So hopefully you'll be in with a good chance once those tubes are unblocked

No other reason - well apart from being 41 & BMI 34 (I CAN do something about one of these things).

I do have eggs & OH's SA came back at 120m (we were told norm is 20m) - so obviously he thinks he's 6 times better than the average!

No flippin good if the eggs are land locked in my ovaries. What happens to them if they don't have a tube to sail along? Is there a party of eggs going on somewhere?

I really should use the time to eat healthily, lose weight etc & generally be good which makes for a better chance of conception.

Accupuncture tonight. Will have a chat with him about frequency now I know it will be a few months till op - he had suggested weekly.

Have been looking at this - anyone any experience of Arvigo? Not much point for me, but might be of interest to others.

    Hello all
I used this forum a couple of years ago when DH and I were TTC our first and it was a great support. Our wee boy is now 15 months old and we are hoping to start TTC#2 next month :D. I'm 33 and DH is 44.

Will be phoning docs tomorrow to arrange appointment to have my IUD removed . It's just the copper one i.e. no hormones so should be able to start TTC straight away I believe...anyone had any experience of this?

Last time we were lucky and got our BFP after 5 months of trying. Since then DH has become disabled after an illness which, along with having a toddler in the house, unfortunately means we don't get to DTD as often as we'd like so expecting things to take longer this time.

Will be using FF to track things and will dig out my CBFM...got our BFP first month of using it last time! :)

    Hugs BZ.

Welcome OxClaire. Sounds like your family have been through a lot. Welcome on here. I use the CBFM too so its good to hear a positive story from it! Hope your stay here is short and sweet.

MRsJ28 - not sure I'm afraid. Although mine always (TMI!) seems to feel hard and like one long bump and never 'soft'. I give up on the cervix!

I had a smear about two years ago, everything was fine and came back normal. I think I'm going to wait until this 2ww is over and then get it checked out. If it changes or starts to hurt in the meantime I will go to the doc before then.

I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, but I don't want to just ignore it.

Thanks for advice and support as always everybody.
