Trying for a Baby Part 7

Congratulations Aida!!!!!!
Been a lovely day, was my friend's son's christening. He looked so adorable, and I got loads of baby cuddles as usual. It was a bit wierd though as it's the first time that my work collegues (the after party was at my work place) have seen me with a baby, so that got loads of comments. One nearly made me cry, as he said that a baby really suited me.
Having a bit of problems telling when I ov as have been out today, but I hadn't ov'd before then. I am sure men are wierd and when they know they are wanted to dtd they get scared and run away. Last night when he wanted it, my mate was sleeping in the next room. Grrrrrrr. Early night tonight I think, I have been buttering him up with the mars's and snickers out of my box of celebrations.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -

Finger crossed for tomorrow skintchickAida - That is one BIG FAT POSITIVE as far as I can see
I can't speak for anyone else, but I would love it if you stayed
:kisses:
scottishchick27, tattoo, abis21 and vesper Thank you
TeamLowe I will test every 2 days just to see if I still get a BFP (I think the HCG hormon rises every 48h so no point testing daily, right?) but I won't post pics as I don't want to upset anyone...I will post my digi (have 2) but I'm waiting until I'm sure I will get a 2-3 week (like MB posted the other day) and then a 3+ week.
I so hope it will stay...
skintchick Yes, it is a big step especially when you don't expect to happen to you... I will pop in and say Hi to Less than 12 weeks thread but I don't feel I'm ready to start posting there.
claire16c Thank you. Yes it was me who was using the light to OV:D. It worked both cycles (had 2 BFP). My normal cycles were 35-50 days long and if I was OV (not sure if I did as never seen EWCM or had cramps before OV - I have PCOS), it would've been day 21-36. Both cycles when I've used light, I OV on day 17-18. I think it worked really well for me.
Thank you again ladies for your warm congratulations. It feels so nice to have your support during these emotionally and scary times. Thank you.:smileyheaBaby Aida is here :j:j:jBaby fund - £3140/£60000 -

Can understand you are nervous, and please lurk around here for as long as you need/want to!
How did you tell your OH??
Claire16c - how is the new job? when might you start ttc-ing again? Hope you won't have to wait too long
Lilymay - ((hugs)) for feeling down yesterday (or was it today? Sorry!! I can't remember everything I've just read!). Hope you will get your BFP very soon.
Teamlowe - good work with the shoes, hope you are ok. ((hugs)) for emotional day and hope AF stays away!
Nothing much to report here, CD16 and I have started doing OPKs. No positive yet, but it's early days for me (last month OV was CD24). Do any of you ladies think it's worth getting the clear blue digi OV sticks? I find the internet cheapies a bit ambiguous .
Hope everybody's had a good weekend - we were at a wedding yesterday which was fun. Back to work tomorrow, boring boring...
ETA: Claire16c, just read that you'll be starting ttc in June, sorry didn't read that properly first time round!0 -
Hi girls,
I have decided to stop TTC although I do think we never TTc properly as we never BD'ed at the right time, it seems like everytime the moment comes we are always angry with each other. This time is not different.
So I have decided to look into our relationship and be happy with my 4 yo being an only child.
I do wish each of you a BFP. xx
Hi Morocha - thanks for letting us know, we will miss you and I hope you can work things out. Sounds like you are making a sensible decision for now and I hope you will have the chance to ttc at a later date. All the best.
Skintchick - ((hugs)) for the negative test, really hope you get your BFP soon
Tinks - hope you made up with DH (sorry if I missed a post saying you had...) and you got a chance to BD after that positive OV smilie0 -

Congratulations Aida
All the best for you.
Fingers crossed for you Skintchick.
Am beginning to wonder if I do actually ov. Are OPK's a definate sign of ov? I don't get a lot of cm. Yesterday I had what might have been a bit of ewcm and cervix seemed lower, negative OPK. today cervix seems higher again and more creamy cm. so confusing! have my appt with gynae this week and get fertlity results so guess will find out more.0 -
Congratulations aida and thanks for sharing the pic. Sorry if you're having to repeat yourself butwhat's this about light helping you ov?0

Can I knock on the door and quietly walk in? New to the forum and not completely sure how it works.
Congratulations Aida. That's fantastic news.
Good luck tomorrow skintchick.
Been TTC for three months now. Really difficult as OH works away quite a bit so struggle with timing IYSWIM. Thought I'd got the timing right this month but I'm getting those familiar feelings. My cycle seems to have changed from 28 to 24 days though so I might be out by a bit. I'll find out by the end of this coming week.0 -

Thanks Mrsj28.
After the inital  , I baked some nice cup cakes for my hubby and after we had our lunch, I've told my hubby that we have something "in the oven" so he opened the oven (I took out the cup cakes and put my test on a plate) and when he took out the plate, he was . He kissed me and he started touching my belly (not the flattest belly in the world, but still). He said that he will try to be the best father he could be for your unborn baby. I so want to be able to give him that opportunity, in 9 months time but is nothing I can do. Sooo much pressure on me, now.
Hi Ho
Aida - That is one BFP :j:j:jSo happy for you. What did you do different this time????
Had a m/c:mad:? Not sure if that "helped" but I've heard that after a m/c you are very fertile. Also I took my pregnacare pills + I stated taking Vit B complex and also Mr T syrup which worked really good. Check my chart last month and this month. Last month I had EWCM for 2 days but it was really hard to notice that but this time lots and lots and lots and lots of EWCM. It was the Amazon of EWCM in my pants :rotfl:.
And also my usual lunaception thing.:smileyheaBaby Aida is here :j:j:jBaby fund - £3140/£60000
