Hi everybody  -hope you've all had a nice weekend. We had a lovely Easter weekend with friends, far too much chocolate and enjoyed Church yesterday thinking about the meaning of it all too!

Candlewax - ((hugs)) Sounds like you are taking a very sensible approach with your DH and I really hope that things work out and he is able to cut down his drinking so that you can start ttc again.

Congratulations definitely blonde and mlbarrett! How exciting! So pleased for you :j:j:j

QQ good luck for that eggy, fingers crossed! Hope you've had a great weekend with DH.

No news here - 10 DPO and feeling remarkably chilled. I think knowing I have longer cycles now helps, because I am not really thinking about ttc at all for the first week or two of the cycle. I am also trying to make decisions about other things like my job, and doing some things to the house etc etc that I've been putting on hold because of ttc, but am realising I need to keep going with life at the same time.

Plus, I'm secretly hoping that tempting fate might work :D

Have a good Monday all (even if it is grey and rainy...)

The egg made it to freezing!:j
OK, so it may not survive the thawing, may not implant, may not make it to birth etc etc, but I'm having a great Easter anyway:easter_ba

mlbarrett, can we call it a BFP?
morocha, you need to brush up on your seducing skills:cool:
You won't be pg by pretending to be asleep:naughty::p
TeamLowe, I have to wait until about 6DPO to get the egg back in me, as the egg was frozen at 6DPO:o

As for PCOS, you could try cutting out sugar as much as possible, that's what I did to reduce my cycle this time (I have PCOS). Something to do with sugar producing testosterone which in turn suppresses ov.
zcrat, CBFM needs FMU, but at CD9, I think it would've been low anyway:o
Fluffnutter, I was told 90% survives the thawing and at my age 40% get pg...smiley_pray.gif
Candlewax, good luck with getting your DH to cut down on drinking. I think you made the wise choice:T See you back soon:wave:

I'm having a bit of a wobbily day ladies :(

My son has slept really, REALLY badly the last 3 days, has been crying none stop all the time he is awake and I am beyond exhaustion. He has slept for 11-12 hours each night from being about 2 weeks old so this is totally out of character and I am struggling to cope.
I have a funny feeling that I am going to get a + when I test (I can't explain why, I just think I am going to) and right now, the thought of having another baby terrifies me.

It is going to look so bad if I go off on maternity leave shortly after joining my new company, and I would also have to claim MA because I wouldn't qualify for MP from them.

I'm TTC, but hoping I'm not pregnant. What is wrong with me?!

    That's pg hormones, it's normal:p

There's never a perfect time, but everything has a habit of working out OK in the end. Fingers crossed for a BFP:)

It could be a man thing, men likes to BD when we don't want to, and when we want it (ttc), they lose interest:angry:

QQ I already eat low gi and am weight lifting to put on muscle as more muscle helps control insulin and other such fun affects. Last time my cycles were horrible, ie pretty much since puberty, I went on the pill to help my skin whilst losing weight then when I stopped that it was a regular 35 day cycle. But I'm pretty sure when that started I was at the weight I am now.

I'm running on clueless really, don't understand how or when my periods are meant to come back. I'm hoping that if I carry on losing weight dr will give me something to induce a bleed to kick start the next cycle and that will be shorter because of the weight loss. Pretty sure I'm waiting for a breakthrough bleed anyway and who knows when that will be. I think when I went about my periods it was like 6 months since I'd had one!

I'm just miffed that when I really need it my regular cycle has gone bye bye lol x x
