    Good morning girls:wave:

    mrsj28, ' Wobbly legs = poor clutch control...' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Lilymay, (((hugs))).
Can't imagine giving birth then losing a baby at 3 days old:(
TTC40, whether it works or not, I love acupuncture:happyhear
Relaxing must play a role somehow for ttc:cool:
    It's cheaper than IVF anyway:money:
vesper, I didn't know about giving up ttc for adoption. It's not like you are going to love the adopted child less if you have a baby of your own? Strange rules:huh:

Sorry I've been such a moaning !!!!!! recently. I just think it's the realisation that I've now been off the birth control (and by that I mean all birth control) for 9 years. And apart from one pregnancy (miscarriage) nothing has happened, and even that was 6 years ago now. The doctor will only count the time that we have been officially trying with opk's, timing and everything, not the time I've been ntnp. I know 6 months (of opks/ cbfm) isn't very long in ttc terms, but I still can't ignore in my head the ntnp times.

That's because they count! What a weird and unhelpful doctor you have. When I first went to see the quack, I just said we've been trying for about three years, most of which was simply having sex without contraception. I've never temped or checked my mucus or used opks.

No questions were asked about what 'trying' meant although we did speak about ovulation and fertile periods of the month. It was a great consultation and I was referred for fertility investigations immediately.

Subsequent tries of IVF eventually diagnosed the problem (poor egg quality) and it became clear that I'd have been incredibly unlikely to fall pregnant naturally. Six years is a long time, vesper. I know you're thinking about the adoption route at the moment, but even so, I don't think you've had very good support from your GP in terms of your own fertility.

And don't worry about moaning. That's what we're here for.

lilymay1 you didn't upset me with your question Hun it's just that when I'm on my iPod like now it drives me mad to write too much!

    [colli] congratulations! That's fantastic news

Sorry not to do loads of personals but see above! But I do have to say...seahorses?!?!?!

Afm I have very sore nipples but I think that is now normal for me as I've had it the last few months. One week down one to go.

Hugs to anyone who needs them x x

    morning ladies,

vesper - I don't know what I'd do without having this place to moan in lately! Is there a different GP you can see? Surely they should be taking into account the whole time you've been having unprotected sex?

lilymay - am so sorry to hear about your daughter. Don't really know what else to say but am sending you lots of love.

mrsj28 - hugs for the post office trip. I do the same about imagining telling people, I have the parents and work scenarios word-perfect in my head.:o

QQuaver - hope your MIL's operation went/is going well.

AFM, feeling a bit low again today. Still no sign of ov or AF. Seems to be a struggle to get OH to DTD this week, and am really worried about work.

Have to decide whether to move to another site 50+ miles away (along the M6 around Birmingham, so not a great journey, would probably be a 3hr trip each day). Or I can wait and take redundancy in a few months (but really won't get much). Or I can start applying for other things now.

Just wish I had a crystal ball to see if I was going to be pg in that time (or ever!) If I knew I would be pg this year I'd hold on here and just take the mat leave then decide what to do later. But if it's not going to happen, or not for ages, I might as well apply for other jobs. Really don't want to get a new job and then get pg straight away. We're starting the individual consultations soon and I'm dreading it as I can't tell my boss and HR the reasons why I can't decide what to do. My poor head is spinning atm.

We've got our first appt with the FS on 1st May so hopefully that will shed some light on things.

Instead of posting to have a moan I’m posting to share some good news today (no, it’s not BFP good news – I wish ;)).

I got my hospital results last night and everything has come back clear :T. So I have another check-up in 6 months and then every year for the next 10 years.

Fannyanna - that is great news you must be so pleased. I am on yearly smears due to treatment few years ago so know how great it feels to get clear results.

Tealover - no wonder your head is spinning, it would be great to have a crystal ball and look into the future - hugs

Did anyone watch OBEM last night, there were a couple on there that had been ttc for over 5 years and got their BFP naturally - not that I want to wait that long but it gave me hope.

Hi ladies hope ur all ok

Had a hospital appoint yesterday had to see the specialist regarding my hs and basically he doesn't know what to do with me now as long term antibiotics never worked and neither has two ops an he said also that without removing the whole of both armpits breasts thighs an below!! :( it will never go away but in the next breath he said I'm not prepared to do such extensive surgery so now he's flumaxed! Also got rushed straight upto the breast ward for a scan and they found that the hs is now in my right breast so got to go in in 2 weeks time for op to remove the lump but the rest of the scan was clear so some good news
He also said to go and get tested for pcos as the hs can cause that so will b going to my docs after the bank hol. And then he said oh in my opinion the disease usually burns itself out when ppl are 50!! Wow only another 25 yrs to go then lol

Hugs to all who need them :)
Oh and have realised hobby n I have been ttc since our wedding in 2009 and in 3 years I've managed to fall pg twice both ending in mc so hopefully the docs will shed some light

Sorry for such a long post :)

    That's great news Fannyanna! :D

Sorry that your news isn't great Mssas, hope they figure out what to do with you. :)

I saw OBEM Primmer, it was lovely that after so many years trying they got their baby. :) The young girl was really sweet too, getting upset because she wasn't being brave enough! Bless her :o The 'One Year On' show should be interesting :)

Hugs for TeaLover and Vesper, sounds like you both need them :)
