Just back from 1st appointment with fs, she was really nice and explained that the next step was to test my tubes were not blocked so will arrange for me to have a laparoscopy where they insert dye via my cervix and then x-ray to make sure dye travels up tubes to the ovaries.

It is good news that getting the test and things are moving but she was very honest about chances if success with and without ivf and even though I wanted the truth it was hard to hear that we could go through all of this with such low chances of getting a baby at the end of it.

Dont get me wrong, I am not giving up and still want a baby so much that it hurts and DH had said we will find money for ivf if needed. Life just seems so hard at times. It doesn't help that you have to sit in the waiting room at fs with loads of pregnant ladies and gorgeous little babies. :(

DH left this morning on another trip to India. He has just phoned me to say his plane had to dump all its fuel and make an emergency landing in Warswaw! Apparently there was a problem with the water on board. He's being remarkably laid back about the whole thing, I think I'd be up the walls at the thought of having to get back on another plane to complete my journey. Will now worry about him until he gets back.

4dpo for me, and I did temp this morning even though I said I would stop when I got my crosshairs. Have been feeling really gassy yesterday and today and lots of acid indigestion today which is lovely! I know its far too early for any symptoms though so not reading anything into that other than glad OH is away for a few days so as not to have to endure me at my least attractive icon_smile.gif

    :eek::eek:

I have a big fear of flying, and usually have to take quite a lot of valium when we travel and pretend for DS's sake i am totally fiiiineee *breath, grit teeth, etc etc*

DW and DS are travelling back to the US this week and I have massive plane anxiety for them the whole time they are in the air (it's like I am flying myself), so this would have been my worst NIGHTMARE!

Glad DH is OK and completely relaxed about it though! :D

    Hello everyone:wave:
Hope it's still OK to talk about MILs here:o

My MIL is having her heart op tomorrow, so fingers crossed she'll come out OK. I'm kind of guilty of encouraging her to do the op while BIL didn't want it (DH wants it).

Tinkwings, how many buntings have you made so far?:D

    :T

Good Luck to MIL thoughts are with you & family
    xxx

Bunting is at least 1 per day!!! in the 2ww :D

2b-when my son flies to the states to visit his dad I sit at work all day on the continental website tracking his flight, and do the same all night when he is flying home!

I'm not sure if this link has been posted before and comes with a warning that it is quite graphic, but this website has pictures of the cervix and CM for each day of a woman's cycle. Thought it might be helpful for anyone knew to temping and checking secondary signs.

:( I don't have a membership but I would've loved to search for charts like mines... I just love checking other peoples' charts :D.

Last week I was a little bit busy but now I'm back. My temps are up and down but I'm happy as they are not that crazy after last cycle.5 minutes ago I saw the mother of all EWCM in my pants  but my OPK was negative this evening. I will try to BD now but my OH is snoring on the sofa :o and I'm too tired ...perhaps I will try to BD tomorrow morning.
