  • Hi......feel bad for posting here but I've posted on the less than 12 weeks so thought I'd better tell you guys too..I know I havne't posted much in the last few months, but I do try to keep up with all of you.

I got my bfp on Sunday.....had to do several tests before OH would believe it and even then he said I would have to get the doctor to confirm it!

I did another test today.....still pregnant.....am worried that it's too good to be true though! Right side is aching.....am imagining the worst.

  • Thanks!

    Am excited and terrified!

The gory details........we only BD once this cycle, it was in the middle.....I'm pretty regular. I used CBFM for the first time but it gave me high readings from CD6 for 18 days then low so that was no help to me at all!!

Congrats I love cushions and Kavics. That is so exciting. I don't know how you can not tell your OH Kavics! You have more self control than me.

Lots of newbies - welcome to all.

    Hugs to those in need.

AFM - Peaked on CBFM on SUnday. Only managed Sat night and Sun night BD this cycle. OH couldn't "complete" last night. Might try again tonight but as this would be high I think we'd be too late. I reckon we'll be out this month as only twice can't have been enough. OH reckons it's all about the quality not the quantity. TBH, I've always been more of a quantity gal -hence the weight issues in the past!

Went back to WW last night as have crept just over the BMI of 25 so need to get that sorted pronto.

Beautiful day here in the sunshine!

    Congratulations ilovecushions! :j

I was getting worried for March but we're catching up now! :D

I'll be tempted to get something like this to tell OH we're PG! :D

ETA: Does anyone else think, 'Argh SPOILERS!' when they accidentally read QQ's BFP jumpy post before reading it from the lady with the BFP?! ;)

is there any chance of you getting an early scan? just thinking that maybe by 4 April you'll be about 6 weeks, might be able to see a heartbeat, get a picture and show OH and ask him what he thinks it's a picture of :D that's how i'm planning on telling my parents next time anyway.
It'll have to be a private scan from places like Babybond:cool:
so i *think* i got pregnant at 21lbs lighter than what i am now. so i have a long way to go.
    Good luck:o
in more lighthearted news, yesterday i could not stop trumping! and i was clerking a meeting so that was quite embarrassing. luckily they didn't smell, just was loud :rotfl:i have no idea how one woman could contain sooo much wind! x x
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Are you sure you are not pg?:p

I have to drive my horrible boss to a seminar we're going to this afternoon. It's about an hr away so that's at least 2 hrs of us being stuck in a car together - I'm not sure we'll both get out alive. The irony is... we're going to a seminar on stress! Have now got to the "you have to laugh" stage with it all.:rotfl::eek:
Good luck:o You could put some music or radio on and not talk:p
I think I'm out for this month. I had a massive drop below coverline yesterday and this morning it's even lower. Boo. I'll be on gusset-watch for the rest of the day now.
    (((Hugs)))
It's just a bit disheartening thinking that had the first one worked out we would be having a baby in less than a month from now.
    Massive (((hugs))).
If I didn't have a mc, my baby would have been 2 last week:o
I know that Emsbet posted a link to supplements a while ago, did anyone save it as a favourite to stop me having to trawl through the billions of pages of this thread?
    This?

I'd like something to encourage ovulation and lengthen my luteal phase; my cycles before my first MC were textbook and they've been getting more wonky with each pregnancy.
Perhaps something like Vitamin B100 complex for lengthening LP?
Agnus castus for general cycle regulation?

No idea how to tell him either. Anyone has any suggestions? Was thinking about chocolates, you know you can buy ones with letters on it so I can just write it out: you'll be a daddy or something like this. I am far too afraid to even think about it at the moment.
Whatever you decide, let us know:)

My way of telling Moon was very unimaginative - he watched me do the test. However, why don't you get him a personalised card with a photo of the digital test on the front, with the quote: "A father is a guy who has snapshots in his wallet where his money used to be." Inside you could write a list of reasons why he will make a great Dad.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Thank you so much Everyone, I'm really overwhelmed by your wishes. I will not share it with OH, I'm not even sure about the 4th April either as he will not fly back to the UK before but meet me in Poland to see his family for Easter (the 5 day mini break was booked 6 months ago). I am really afraid that he will tell his family so I might not say a word until we fly back on the 9th. I will be strong (cause I'm not keen on his family hugging and kissing me, eeeek)!

No idea how to tell him either. Anyone has any suggestions? Was thinking about chocolates, you know you can buy ones with letters on it so I can just write it out: you'll be a daddy or something like this. I am far too afraid to even think about it at the moment.

And I will follow you Ladies, I want to wish as many Congratulations and Happy Pregnancies in the days/weeks/months coming as possible!

Congrats! I don't know how you're keeping it to yourself.....I was so excited I shoved the test right in my OH's face and said ....you see 2 lines right? Not what I'd dreamed of!
I wanted to put the test in a card and write something soppy or buy a babygrow or somthing like that....oh well too late for me. Well done you for making it special for him x

LOL, I'd appreciate the white writing QQ, but I don't think anyone else would! I just need to stop reading ahead! :p
