Im spotting again today at only cd17, absolutely gutted, this is worse than last month which was only 19 days. Ughhhh
there is definitely something wrong
Hope everyone is doing well, congratulations klump! How are you getting on skintchick?0 -
((hugs)) QQ, Sexymouse and Lemonmelon
Lemonmelon have you tried Agnus Castus? From what I have read it is supposed to help regulate your hormones and can help with short cycles/LP. It might be worth looking into (this isn't medical advice BTWjust my own thoughts). I've used it and I know some other ladies have used/ do use it.
Keeping my fingers crossed for the BFP Skintchick.

Klump – congratulations on your BFP :j:j:j
Skintchick – congratulations on your TLP which will soon be a BFP :j:j:j
Elelyn – We went to Bodrum on the West Coast. Stayed at a lovely all inclusive hotel which had an amazing and massive swimming pool. It was very hot over there so I’m sure you’ll have perfect weather for your holiday. Enjoy!
Marie1 – So sorry to hear your sad news. Sending you lots and lots of hugs x x x
QQ – Thanks for the update – especially the computer bit which gave me a good old chuckle. So a bit belated but big congratulations to Anymo and Jennynoo :j:j:j
Sexymouse – Sorry you’re feeling fed up - have some hugs. You can come round mine to do some housework too if you’re really frustrated lol.
As for me, well today is my first day back at work. I’ve had a fairly productive morning and now I’ve caught the forum bug again so not quite so productive anymore. Only in today this week so should really do some more work.
I have my hospital appointment tomorrow morning for my LLETZ – goodbye bad cells, hello healthy cervix. Well I hope so anyway. I think I’m a week overdue on my period and I have a horrible feeling it’s going to arrive before my appointment tomorrow morning. If it does I’ll be really upset as I’ll have to rearrange my appointment. So fingers, toes, eyes, arms and anything else that can be crossed in hope that AF stays away long enough for me to have my treatment. Then I can put all this behind me (well once I have the all clear results lol).

Hey guys,
Am a graduate from this thread but do pop back now and again usually to ask questions about TTC for my friend.
I have posted about her before and all of the distance between us when I found out we were expecting and she avoided me for a long time bigzippy very kindly answered a lot of my questions at the time anyway she eventually felt like she was in a good enough place to come and see me and we talked at length and I told her I knew she was finding it difficult and totally understood that and she could take as long as she needed and know that I'd always be here for her.
She has today been for an u/s scan on her ovaries I texted her to say good luck hopefully they don't find anything etc and I loved her. She has eventually text back and said she can't speak to me she is too upset they have found her ovaries to be covered in cysts and she is understandably gutted she has a diagnosis of PCOS all of her blood screenin lately though have showed as within normal range so she was hopeful this scan would show very little however that is not the case. What if anything can they do for her now ? She already has one DD who is now 8 yrs old.
Also I don't know what to say to her I did say I was sorry and I hoped maybe the GP could do something for her but don't really know what that is likely to be I feel gutted for her she is lovely has just married her lovely husband and I so wish things ween't this was for her I feel a bit guilty and I don't know what to say without sounding patronising if that makes sense ?
Anyone gone through this and know what they can do for her ?
TIA

Like Laura says, grapefruit juice from few days before ov might help cm and make your insides more hospitable to sperm (stop after ov as it's not good for implantation):)
And relax.......:D
Thanks QQ I'll get some more tomorrow and start having a glass each day... can't do any harm even though it's horrid"People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -

sexymouse, it's not over 'till the witch arrives:o
colli, I'm going to take Soy Isoflavones (natural version of Clomid) to boost ov this cycle and hope it'll quicken ov. I need AF!:j
lemonmelon, do you think you may have LPD (luteal phase defect)?
Like emsbet said, Agnus Castus (I've never tried) might help or Vitamin B100 complex (I have tried, don't take if you have thyroid problems. Are you thin?). It's not a medical advice, just a thought:)
You could ask your doctor:)
Fannyanna, good luck tomorrow and everything crossed for your AF to stay away:)
Amanda, nice to see you again, how is your bump?
PCOS does not equal no baby. It just means there may be a problem with oving. She has a child already, so that proves she's fertile:)
Is her cycles regular? She may need some pills to regulate it if irregular, but that's about it.
Some with PCOS almost never get AF which will obviously mean harder to get pg, but some has perfect 28 day cycles and get pg first time every time:)
Since her blood results were not bad, I assume she has a milder version of PCOS. Remind her Mrs Beckham and Mrs Jamie Oliver has PCOS:cool:0 -
