Very few ladies ovulate on CD14. If I left it until then to try, I'd miss the boat as I usually ovulate on CD12 ish and have a 27/28 day cycle. Your best bet is to check your fertile signs, CM and Cervical changes if you don't want to use OPKs or temperature. You are fertile when you have egg white mucus and your most fertile day is the last day of egg white CM, not the day when it starts or the day it is most copious.

If you want to use a calendar method, a more accurate estimate is that you will ovulate 14 days before your period is due. But again some women have longer or shorter luteal phases, and may have cycles which vary by a day or two in length which means you ovulated later that month, so really the best option is to throw the calendar away and pay attention to your body.

Just checking in to say - nothing at all happening here. SO itching to get started again. Have a hgih on the CBFM, but with the PCOS and new metformin tablets, who knows what that means!

Welcome to new ladies!
Just been out for a meal with my family and pg sister made me cry, which was quite embarrassing. Basically I asked why she didn't text me about the scan she had (she'd obviously text our other sister about it) and she said that she had lots of other people to text and that not everything is about me. Felt like shouting at her, Im trying so hard to be happy and supportive and all it's getting me is grief. It was an all you can eat so luckily she got up and went for food after she said it and only my dad saw me cry. Think she regretted it after cos she was trying to be very pally with me. No way one of my sisters would ever apologise, that would involve admitting you was wrong lol

Tbh knowing my sister as well as I do, she's always needed to be the centre of attention and think she's a) upset that some people are giving me consideration and b) worried about me getting pg as that will steal her thunder. That sounds really harsh. I love her but I know her

Spotting s getting less so we're back to baby dancing, which always makes me happy

Btw did anyone watch take me out? How awkward was it with the last bloke! Lol x x

Nicky - I had some light spotting a few days after OV this month, and no AF just yet (due today/tomorrow). Fingers crossed for us both! Didn't have any IB with my DD tho, so trying not to look too much into it and it really wasn't all that much at all.

Bigmomma - I put my first day of AF on a fertility calendar which I found through google. I know my cycle is 31-32 days, so then it highlighted the best days for BD, the first day you might get a BFP, and when AF is due next time. I tried to BD every day during the highlighted period, but DH was not keen on the 'pressure to perform'. Oops! And my subsequent crying fit of how "I couldn't make a baby on my own" was not quite the passion enhancer either.... Double oops!!! :rotfl:

Team Lowe - big hugs! Hope it didn't put you off your chinese. I love an all you can eat buffet In all seriousness tho - must be hard. She could be a lot more sensitive about things. Sisters can be rubbish tho. My sister was a rubbish bridesmaid cos I'm a control freak and shes so laid back shes horizontal. Was a bad combo!!!

And yes - I did watch take me out :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Funniest episode ever!! Can't wait to see how their date goes next week, lol!!

We have so much snow!! It started about 4pm and hasn't stopped since, there must be 4" already and it just keep falling. Have my fingers crossed that it will all be gone by morning but think that may be wishful thinking . It looks pretty but it makes it so difficult to do anything... am seriously regretting not going to asda this morning now:rotfl:

On CD30 (I think, or maybe 31), cycles usually between 34ish and 49ish days so not expecting AF for a few days yet. Did try a bit of SS but there was absolutely nothing to spot! Pretty sure this hasn't been our month.

That last bloke on take me out was hilarous - clearly thought he was god's gift!

Boo started spotting again after 24 hours with nothing. Think it will be cd1 tomorrow.

I had already planned a jama day today doing ironing and other jobs - so I don't mind looking at the pretty snow. Am hoping its gone by tomorrow tho as the hubby drives 50 miles each way to work so I will worry if it is still bad.

No AF this morning again - whoop whoop! Wonder if this might be our time? Don't actually feel like it is which is funny cos last month I would have placed a large bet that I was pregnant when I actually wasn't :huh: Trying my best not to read too much into anything, but thats easier said than done, lol!

I havent been properly for the last few days and cant beleive how many bfp we have already, congrats :j

AF is due on 9th, i stupidly tested yesterday (idiot) and it was negative. I know i could still be in the game but i'm dont think it will happen this month, not enough BD ( OH was annoying me, and as much as we needed to BD, i was being stubborn)

i think next month i'm just going to do it try and BD throughout the month, as the date thing hasnt been working for me properly. when i've previously got pg, we had only bd 2-3 throughout the month and got caught straight way, so really dishearting when we are trying so much and its not happening (I know its only 2 months). Its starting to make me think something is wrong after the MC:(

im the same, i love the snow, but both me and oh have to drive quiet a bit, so hope it all disappears over night.
