  • Thank you QQ, I am 23. How exciting to see my name on the list :D

mrsj28 - i tend to notice EWCM sticks around (excuse the pun) for about 3-4 days, not sure if thats good or bad? well done on all your wins! lets hope this month is your lucky month!

abis- lets hope we're BFP twins! I felt so excited doing my first test! very un-:money: though, I used a clearblue :o however, it was my first so I had to make it special! Got a 2 pack though so can save it for when I get +ive on my poundland cheapies I will be investing in.

I dont feel like I normally do when AF is due, no cramps or moodiness. DH can normally tell me when i'm due as I turn into a complete witch :rotfl:i've been in pretty high spirits the past few days though, probably because I was excited about my first test! who knows, i tested around 2pm so it definately wasnt FMU. Fingers crossed, I may still be in with a chance :D

Watching Dog the Bounty Hunter and contemplating dinner, not sure what to have.

What is everybodies plans for this evening? All wrapping up ready for the snow?

Hi Cherrydrop! welcome to the thread.

I just had a friend round with the most gorgeous 4 month old. I managed to hold it for a bit and not hand it back when it cried - I'm getting better with this baby thing!

I'm about to go to the coop and stock up on bad food and maybe a curry for a fest of girly tv tonight whilst my OH is away on a stag do.

Try and take my mind of the waiting game! I promised myself I wouldn't test till the 14th as if AF hasn't arrived by then it'd probably be a BFP but I'm having to tell myself off for wanting to test earlier!

Cherrydrop - welcome to the thread, hope your stay is short and you get your BFP soon

Hugs to those who are feeling poorly and those who got a bfn

Cold here but no snow yet. Have planned all my meals for the week and went food shopping early as determined to eat well this week.

Hehe, hope we are BFP twins Cherrydrop :D When I tested +ve with my DD (nearly 6 now) that wasn't FMU, but I was far more controlled with my testing back then and only tested once per week I think! I had come off the pill and not had a natural period - so I wasn't sure whether the lack of AF was the pill coming out my system or pregnancy. Happily it was the latter :D

I use internet cheapie tests at the minute. I think their low costs means I test more often than I would if they were clear blue ones etc. I got a pack of 15 for less than £4 inc postage. I remember looking for them for the first time and seeing them in packs of 100 and thinking what kind of crazy person needed that many  3 months later I figured I am probably gonna be that kind of crazy person :rotfl: :o

Oooo, zcrat - I am a bit jealous of your curry! Still deciding what to make for tea. I'm no good at the waiting to test stage - especially if theres something happening that I'd like to have a drink for. Like last time I didn't have a drink over christmas or new year which proved a bit awkward as we were visiting lots and had visitors. I mainly poured my own drinks, and sometimes put a very little wine with a lot of lemonade (I usually drink bubbly wine, so noone would suspect) or if a drink was poured then my DH would neck it when everyone else had left the room!! Poor DH having to go through all that for me :p Don't really like the thought of everyone knowing that we are TTC cos I can't be doing with updating people if its a bad month.

Its white over here in East Yorkshire. And very snowy still too so it might end up quite deep! My DD will be loving it I bet - shes at her dads this weekend. Least I don't have to be out there making snowmen tho! Altho shes as much of a wimp as me and manages 10 mins before wanting to come in for a hot chocolate, lol!

Not sure what the plans are tonight - DH watching rugby which seems to have been on for aggggeeesssss now! My plan for the weekend was to get some things listed on ebay for sale but enthusiasm is not high for this task at the moment, lol!!
 Married my lobster in July 2011

TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait :o

 2013 is going to be our lucky year

    Welcome Cherrydrop!

QQ, the testing list is really long and so is the prediction list!

OH is not feeling well today but managed to BD in the morning. Just hoping it will be enough as I can see that he is not into more:(. He is in so much pain and his nose still hasn't stopped bleeding so I might just leave him alone and pray that the morning session would be enough. We shall see.

BTW, it's snowing in London City :).

    snowing here too!!

I'm a bit bored tonight so sorry for any long ramblings on here.

Kavics - I feel a bit for your OH - I've got visions of a man poorly in bed and the lady demanding some BDing! Hope he feels better soon.
  • So after the mild disappointment of this last month (ie nasty AF arriving grr), i have decided that my "caution to the wind, seta of the pants flying etc" plan is crud and am trying to work out when i will be ovulating and when best to start the BD'ing..... but i am confused.... how many days is it after first day of AF... AF arrived on 27th January so how do i work it out?? Gosh, i really am pants at stuff like this!!!!! :o

I've had a tiny bit of spotting tonight at 7 dpo and am trying hard not to get my hopes too high. I had some IB on 6 dpo last time round, but not as far as I can remember with any of the other pregnancies. Lots of other possible symptoms too but am trying to be good and not let my mind run too far ahead. Next week is going to crawl past though.

    Cherrydrop. Welcome on TTC thread!

bigmomma051204 - Ovulation usually happens about 14 days after the first day of your last period. You are day 7 today. Please read about SMEP HERE.
