Lily_the_legend, welcome back:wave: Have you ov'd?
Some people with regular 28 day cycles ov as early as CD10 or as late as CD18, but if you could keep BDing every other day around these dates, then you don't really need OPKs:o
Thanks QQ
Well, I have no idea, so I'm going to guess I ovulated two weeks after AF started so will say I'm on CD18 and 4DPO. Think that is right.
That sounds like a good plan, thanks.
Well I think AF will be coming this month, the PMT has started already, I've been a right moody b*tch today and had a right stress when I realised DH had tidied the folic acid away but couldn't remember where...
Think I'm going to try agnus castus and evening primrose oil next month to try to even out my moods a bit and help with achy boobs.
Hugs to anyone feeling low or in a grump like me!0 -
AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Pest control man just gone it's not mice it's rats :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:_pale__pale__pale__pale__pale_If you can think it........it will happen0 -
hi everyone, just catching up on reading
ah tinkwings- rats oh no i wouldnt like to think of rats in my attic, i lived in a house when i was a student that had rats and usually at 3am in the morning i could hear them fighting in the cavity walls!
teamlowe- you made me giggle when you pointed out the pictures for cbfm on amazon , I was looking at the pictures smiling, thinking, right so if I lead oh up the stairs perhaps that would help :rotfl:i didnt realise it was a different woman though in the pictures, naughty people!
Saw the link that you posted as well, I love the headline, unblock from the comfort of your own home!!
Ikkle- I am so so sorry to hear about your Mil sending you hugs.
with regard to the abbreaviations I thought DTD was doing the deed!
Birdie- I know what you mean about dtd, seems like the emphasis is on me to make things happen though, I was normally more into dtd than oh before we were ttc anyway and to be fair to oh when I have been initating it, he has been making the effort because we both had a little talk about how we need to do it more often, but it does become more stressful, as mad as it sound I think I prefer the 2ww to this after the 'work' has been done!
Definetly blonde- sending hugs to you as well, sorry to hear of your grandma as well.
20something house wife- congrats on your bfp, have a happy 9 months.
Just wanted to say as well thank you QQ for doing the list and are you able to put me down for 8 BFP predictions for feb.
my opks are still negative and still really light, the strongest one i had was last friday but i thought it was negative but now thinking perhaps it was a positive, the test line was kind of a variation of colour where it had strong edge and then faded in colour and i thought the whole line had to be a single strong colour so i discounted it, but compared to all the other opks ive been doing since then it was a lot stronger. We dtd on the sunday after i had the opk on friday so if it was a positive im hoping i caught that. Havent managed to do it again since then though
so ive either ov already or its still to come, so im not sure will have to see what will happen, is it possible to have a positive opk on cd8? i thought that would be too soon?0 -
Sorry about your gran definatley blonde, hope you are okay
Welcome back lily
 rats, oh, i hope you can get rid of them easily
Congratulations 20something, wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy
Can I predict 12 for February please?
Good luck with your last 6lbs comp, I would be making the appointment to get the implant out as well, so that you don't reach your target then have another wait to get that done!
:rotfl:at the lunchtime BD chat, mrhappy and I work different shifts as well, and sometimes we aren't really in synch when it comes to getting jiggy
QQ-hope things get moving for your MIL soon x
I have no idea why I'm so tired this evening, I have been off work today, would have lived a long lie, but was still up at half 6 to get DS up for school, but have had a lovely relaxing day catching up on housework with no-one else in to make a mess as I'm tidying!
hugs to anyone who needs one x0 -
QQ can you put me down for 10 Big Fat Positives this month please.Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]
Pay all your debt off by Xmas 18 =22% £6661/£298650 -
PS: My hubby saw me reading about the lunaception and he said: Oh! Farmes do the same with their hens to lay more eggs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. He made me laugh.
They do indeed! I work on an egg farm sometimes and was you have to have even numbers of daylight/dark to get the most eggs. I was working there this week doing the fun job of wiping some of the dirty eggs. Lovely job. Is it wrong that when some of them have a bit of gloopy stuff on, I started thinking: " I wonder what a hens CM is like, can't be EWCM - must be something else."
Taking TTC waaaayyy to seriously!
But, if it does work I'd be in with a chance this month as I wore a sleep mask at the beginning of the month as OH watches tv in bed ( I HATE that habit!) but I lost it around the time of OV!
Loads going on in the thread. Congrats to 20somethinghousewife :j
Very impressed with those who manage lunchtime BD - we just couldn't do that.
Please can I go for a conservative 7 for Feb as it's a short month.0 -

oh no  hope they can sort it out.
At our last house we thought we had mice, had the council round to lay poison etc, and they said the mice would probably die under the floor, and there'd be a smell for about 10 days. We started noticing a smell, which got stronger and stronger, and then we had a plague of bluebottles, about 90 of them in one day, it was horrific.
A few days later I went to read the gas meter in the bay window cupboard, and I found a dead rat in there  luckily it had died on a spare bathroom tile the landlord had stored in there, so when DH got home we were able to lift it directly into a bin bag. Have to confess I shut the door and ran away when I saw it, but he was so brave, my hero! it was all runny/maggoty:eek:_pale_:eek::(Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

I was so shocked! It really hasn't sunk in yet and I'm not letting myself get too excited as it's VERY early days and I know how common chemical pregnancies & miscarriages are, but.... I'M PREGNANT!!
Congratulation :T:T:T:T Fantastic start of the month. Keep going ladies!:j:j:j:smileyheaBaby Aida is here :j:j:jBaby fund - £3140/£60000 -
Congratulations 20 something!:T
Kavics you made me laugh. What op did he have? Glad he's still up for some baby making;)
Good luck with the scan flee
I feel lousy. I woke dh up in the night for a cuddle and then cried all over him! Not entirely sure why, but I do have sinusitis (gp diagnosed and gave antibiotics yesterday, I think having it confirmed made me feel like I was justified in feeling crap...?) and also had leg pain (like shin splints but from hip to toe) for the last 2 nights which doesn't help when you're tring to sleep and/or get by without painkillersI also am really struggling now to even imagine gettinga bfp
I did work out though that I've not been having enough salt, and that won't help with the leg pains or the hydration, so I'll have to think of something tasty and salty to scoff today
(((bz)))) I know how painful sinusitis is, I have suffered with it for the last few years an even had an op to try to help with it.
You will get your bfp, at least you are doing everything you possibly can and going in the right direction -i.e. losing weight, Im just sitting on my lardy !!!! doing nothing
<< also down today. watching one born every minute too.Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0
