    Hi all.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I am confused as hell with fertility friend. I am convinced that I have ovulated yesterday or the day before as I have had ov cramps on Thursday on the right side for a couple of hours. BUT FF is saying that I still ovulated on CD9 and has not corrected itself. My temperature has slowly risen since Thursday.

So the cramping could be ovulation or implantation or random cramping. Maybe I should waiting until Monday and see what happens as my normal ov date is around CD19.

yeah I guess. I wonder if anyone ever feels as though they actually have a better body AFTER they have their baby

Your body changes after having a baby, sometimes it gets better but generally it is the same but slightly different. Stretch mark were a pain after having my second child and means that you need to tone up more.

*ahem* above should say 'looking forward to having a baby' rather than 'looking forward to thieving a baby'. Just to clarify I am not planning in stealing anyone's baby! ;-)

:rotfl:have to admit this made me giggle when i saw your original post,

Last cycle I convinced I had ovulated - I had a bit of cramping and stuff but my temps werent responding and neither were the opks. About a week or so later opks went positive and my temp went up - but no cramps. Whereas every other month cramps have been spot on. its weird.

Maybe though if your temps have gone up since thurs then FF wont correct itself til tomorrow because it needs 3 high temps to put in ov?

CD1 for me. Hardly a suprise as ive been spotting for a couple of days. just relieved to have the cycle over really as it was so long.

But I was not impressed to be woken up in the middle of the night with really bad cramps (ok it was 7am but as I dont get up til around 10am on weekend it felt like it :rotfl: and it was dark so that counts right??) and I had to take some ibuprofen so I could go back to sleep. Havent had cramps like since before I went on the pill 10 years ago. I can only hope its my body sorting itself out for a nice normal length cycle this month.

QQ - Im not really a lover of curry so not sure what Im going to do with the soy tablets . Why do they have to smell as well as be big!!! There is no chance of me swallowing those capsules at all I will just choke if I try and probably end up spitting them into the sink. Maybe I could chuck it in a drink and hold my nose? :rotfl:

I am fuming! It's my birthday next sunday, and OH is being worse than useless. I was prepared for him to want to play football in the morning, as he always does. But now he's announced he's also going to watch the tottenham match in the afternoon so he's going to the pub. He usually goes to the pub after morning footie but I thought for once he might be able to make it home before 3.30pm. He knows how much it annoys me anyway, that's half of every weekend wasted. But now he wants to do it on my birthday as well?!??

There are other things I can do, obviously, but I'm just so p*ssed off and disappointed. He never puts me first, never compromises, never makes me feel special, or even noticed most of the time. For one day I just want to be a priority, not an afterthought, but he can't even manage that.:cry::mad::mad:

I just don't see the point in him even being here to be honest. If he doesn't even want to make an effort on my birthday then what is the point?

ETA: I know that sounds really whining, but for the past couple of years he hasn't even been here on my birthday as he's gone to watch football in london. Including my 30th!

Im so sorry to hear hes being like that. I have to say if my DH was actually going to watch footie and not planning a suprise as sexymouse suggested, it would mean a serious talk.

My friends boyfriend used to be like that, he once came really late to her bday party because of a match. And putting off doing other bits and pieces to play footie. Needless to say she dumped him. Shes with someone now who actually seems to want to spend time with her.

Also as someone else posted - do you think he'll change if you have kids? Sorry that sounds harsh and awful but I used to work with someone whose DH was like that, and they had a little toddler and shed always been taking her to the park, farm, trips out etc on her own becuse her DH wanted to stay at home on the couch. She often talked about leaving him but it hasnt happened yet, but who knows. He went to the pub every single friday - yet when she wanted to go out on a work do say once every 6 months he refused not to go and babysit. I honestly wouldnt put up with that.

That really cracked me up when I read that! I was imagining babies on a shelf in the supermarket :)

Thanks Claire. I just looked at what would happen if I put in a high temperature for tomorrow and it changes it. So must be 3 temperature increases. Thank you.

I thought I'd de-lurk and have a little lookey on the forum again (told you guys I wouldn't be able to stay away) and I'm so glad I did as this post has given me and the Hubby a right old giggle.

    So thank you moneypuddle x
  • Ladies, Still no AF but bad pains. Not tested yet though. So icy cold outside, I don't think I want to walk down to town. I am convinced AF is on it's way and don't want to be disappointed.
