Nobody ever told me one should drink loads before the blood test:shocked: I found that out all on my own:cool:

I figured it out when I had OHSS (severe bloating due to IVF), and couldn't drink much. They couldn't get anything out of me, and had to stick the needle on the back of my hand:eek:

TeamLowe, I've done one of those special IVF acupunctures once, it felt good:cool:, didn't work though:p

moneypuddle I'm in the same boat but on a bigger scale lol! Im a size 18, and weigh 16 stone, <<GULP>>(crept on me, I didnt realise how big I was until I came home about 2 weeks ago, looked in the mirror and didnt' recognise myself !). I'm on it though, I have got an app on my iphone (which i can access online too) called MyFitnessPal and its amazing! I've already lost 4 lbs and it's only been a week but my saviour is my wii!!! I can't handle running machines or bikes or anything, I just feel its too much work to start with...the wii is making it fun and im trying to constantly beat my scores so I'm trying harder each time, if that makes sense! Good luck though, if i can do it anyone can!!!

Afternoon QQ - hope you're well today? Little Black Furry (cat) seems to be ok today, just a bit grumpy. He was very active last night (going out and then changing his mind when he found out how cold it was I expect and coming back in), and kept waking me up as he climbed over my head to the windowsill. Still, I suppose he sees that as payback as we stroke him during the daytime (his sleep-time). He hasn't been sick since, although he was making some funny noises last night, but after a drink of water, he seemed ok again. I think it's cos he'd been eating grass yesterday.

Just been into town, and finally upgraded my phone. I now have a Samsung Galaxy Ace, but having never had a touchscreen phone before, it's going to take some getting used to. I've put my SIM card back in my old phone for the moment whilst the new one charges up. Hopefully now I'll be able to access the web whilst I'm out and about now, and will be able to download some apps (if I can work out how). I really am techologically challenged. The phone doesn't come with a manual either, so I've just had to download one off the net. It's as clear as mud!

hi dundeediva (weirdly my iPad changes your name automatically to underdogs - how odd!). I need that kind of motivation. I think everyone has a tipping point, no matter what size you are, and I'm at mine now.I feel uncomfortable in my clothes and that's a horrible feeling. Even just sat on the sofa,I'm so gutted that my tummy falls into rolls. Eugh. It was once flat!

The worst thing is that OH and I were supposed to baby dance last night and didn't because I was so upset over my weight, so another opportunity missed there! Is anyone else so looking forward to thieving a baby but also terrified of how it will effect your relationship, just in that you're a three, rather than a two.

I have enough love to share between my baby and my DH.
I know DH worries that I'll turn full attention to my baby and not him, but I won't do that:cool:
