Can someone explain FertilityFriend? As a newbie tryer, I really haven't got a clue!
And does your temperature waver when OV-ing, is this another way to tell?

Temping is for finding out when to stop BDing, not for predicting ov.

The temps are roughly divided into 2, low phase and high phase. Ov comes in-between, sometimes with a dip. Once you had 3 consecutive high temps, it is reasonably safe to assume you ov'd:o



It can be used as a diagnostic tool for doctors, to see if there are 2 phases, and if the second half is between 10-16days (if it's too short, egg can't implant).

Hi everyone, congrats on the bfp amymo. Am confused again. I had lots of stretchy discharge on tuesday and wednesday, which would be day 8 and 9. I have had cramp pains since day 8 and am still getting them now. Also been getting bit of back ache. When i checked yesterday, there was only a bit of discharge. Am confused as to whats going on. Came off the mini pill on the 20 August, had very light bleeding for only a few hours, sorry if this is tmi, but it was so light that it only covered a bit of two tampax. Whereas normally im heavey and then medium.

No news from me, I tested but it didn't work :mad: I did it in a jar and everything. :mad: Now I'll have to go buy a new test but not sure when I'll get time to do that.

Morning all!

Congratulations to Amymo - I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy and birth.

No real news to report here, apart from the fact that I've got a cold now, so didn't sleep well last night (nightmares), and feeling really hot this morning.

House tidying in preparation for the new neighbour coming for coffee this avo is going ok, but I've still got the bathroom and hoovering downstairs to do. Not sure what time she's coming over, as we haven't set a time. I managed to bake a courgette cake yesterday so that we can have some with our drinks (as long as she isn't allergic to nuts as it contains walnuts). I might not tell her what type of cake it is until she's had some, as the name may put her off if she's not had it before (I will make sure she knows there are nuts in it though).

Well I've got to go and wash my hair now, and get cleaning.

Maybe you need a different practitioner? I remember you saying your chinese medicine lady was really good, does she do it or maybe she could recommend someone? I wouldn't stress about it though, if you're not really in to it. My lady was quite frank and said that if you don't really feel as though it's helping you then it becomes part of the "things I MUST do to concieve" and can stress you out more so best just to leave it.

I don't use OPK either MrsBryan, I get a lot of signs of ov though (ewcm, pains and ahem, friskiness ). I did try out CB digi tests one month and got the smiley when i thought i would so haven't bothered since. It can be one more thing to worry about but if you're not sure when you ov it's nice to have it confirmed.

Sounds like AF is being a cow bag secretdebts & twigglet, hope it's the last one for, ooo nine months or so :cool:

Don't worry moneysaver12, you haven't been off the pill for very long at all, it can take a while to settle down. Though it does sound as if you're gearing up for ov so I'd get bding!

Well seeing as NO semen makes it way inside of me, unless we are using a syringe and it's generally only twice a month when I am fertile, then I think its safe to assume its CM!
