Congratulations Amymo! First BFP of September! What a great start
LegalBlonde, line drawn.Thank you for writing such a long post - it must have taken you ages, I really appreciate you replying in such detail.
My DD commented today that I have 'spots' on my boobs (nipples). Obviously I am in no way symptom spotting *cough cough* but I also seem to be smelling things strongly...sorry QQ!:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Thanks for the welcome QQ and everyone else!
Do you think I should get ovulation tests? First time trying ever this month and we wanted to just 'go with the flow', be a bit laid back about it, for the first 3 months anyway. And although I think I know when I'm ovulating, could I get it wrong? We were just going to BD regularly and see what happens!Seems like everyone uses the ovulating tests?
My best friend was TTC for 3 years and I saw what she went through, all the day counting, ov testing, disappointments etc and know how tough it is emotionally. Didn't want it to be like that right at the start....anyone know what I mean? Or am I sounding selfish
Haven't even started trying yet and I'm already thinking about it non-stop, doesn't bode well for me.....!

It's up to you really MrsBryan, I got OV tests straight away, but my history is that I was on pill for 10 years and went off it (thanks to the suggestion of someone on here) about 3 months before our wedding, we used other protection during that time, just to get it all out of my system. So durin that time I took advantage of the time I had and being off the pill and started testing just to confirm I OV when I thought I did.
I am still using them now (only 2 months in to TTC although the above feels like years ago!!!) and only have 2 tests left, but I suppose I will keep going with it now to confirm each month.
I use the amazon packs they are such good value and seem to have worked for me so far xDebt Free Wannabe by 1 January 2016

I don;t use OV tests MrsBryan, although if I'm not pregnant htis month I'm going to get some. My problem is not when I Ov (U get a lot of EWCM so it's obvious really) but that we don't usually BD enough
It's up to you, if you can tell when you Ov I'd not bother, but if you can't, then they might be useful.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Well ladies I am such a disappointment, BFN...I'm only 10dpo but thought I'd do a sneaky test, wish I hadn't now, what a horrible feeling
stared at the test strip for ages, oh well it's not over til AF arrives and it's not due for a good few days yet, if she doesn't show I shall still test on 7th!0 -
Thanks Ladies. Never been on the pill and have always had regular 28 day cycle so will try for the first couple of months without OV tests......good luck to everyone! xxAttitude is a little thing that makes a big difference0
