tinkwings, I have spent WAY too much time on that site, heh!

QQ - fingers crossed for next round. xx

Congrats for the BFPs we have had too!

We arrived home yesterday - didnt sleep a wink on the flight, and fought to stay up til 7:30, when we finally managed to go to sleep and sleep for 12 hours. We're ALL still sick - but going to the docs today - YAY for the NHS. We're sitting in PJs around the house, not unpacking - too sick to do ANYTHING!

Hope everyone else is OK, is anybody back to work next week. I am, will be a shock to the system!!!

Has anybody seen this: http://www.duofertility.com - doeas anybody know anything about it? Im trying to figure out if its worth it... can it tell you in advance, as opposed to temping which tells you after? Because that would be useful for us with our limited donor time.

    2b xx

Hi 2b - sorry to hear you're all ill still. Hope the doctor is able to make you all better. Regarding the duo fertility monitor, I spoke to the pharamacist in Boots about it when I was considering between the CBFM and this. She seemed to think that the CBFM was just as good, so I decided that as it was about half the price, that I'd go for that instead. I think I looked for reviews online - will see if I can find any for you.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Having had a bit of a google 2b, it seems to have had mixed reviews. Some people who had been using CBFM found that the duofertility monitor said they were ovulating earlier than the CBFM had indicated, which is why they hadn't been falling pregnant. I suppose it boils down to whether you can afford to take the risk, as it's very expensive to buy.

the duofertility does come with a money back garuntee if you're not pregnant within 12 months, but for that you have to fill in a form and they decide if you're 'suitable' for the device. i filled it in just for a laugh and i *think* the form assumes you're a heterosexual couple BDing, can't remember if it allows for donors etc

Congrats to Elelyn and T-Sil who i'm sure will have a BFP next test, PMA and all that

this weekend would have been my baby's due date :A :o (thanks to emsbet for your concern in the other thread) so my wonderful parents are paying for me and DH to stay two nights in a lovely hotel in the Lake District, which should do us the world of good :jleaving straight after work so really can't concentrate, i'm in holiday mode! lol
only botheration is i've left my phone at home by accident and it would be a 60 mile round trip to get it so meh, will just have to enjoy my peace and quiet :)

staying on TTC topic, my little diary of cycle tracking looks mental! :rotfl:i've all sorts of little codes of pills i've taken, a little face to show how i'm feeling, CM tracking and a sore ladies rating from 0-5 and BDing too of course.

Speaking of which, as we're going for the every 2-3 days method, i told DH to wake me for it when he got home from seeing his friends last night as we hadn't since Monday. he was happy to oblige but on the way home he ate a pigging pepperami! if it wasn't for the necessity of it i would have flat out refused, his breath smelt awful!

he was considerate and pointed his face away from me, but he kept making me giggle cos every so often he'd go pork to himself. least we have a sense of humour about these things :rotfl:

I just did an IC and nothing...:(
I thought they were supposed to be more sensitive than FRER, but the line on the FRER is a definite pink line so a bit worried that an IC is nothing.

Maybe I should get a digi for tomorrow...

FRER are expensive. Yes I think it is every 48 hours that HcG generally doubles. 11/12 DPO could be a bit early. Some people get BFP's that early but then others can get a BFN 13DPO then a BFP on 14DPO. I'm sure a few people on here have had that happen.

Yep. Me :D I only get TTLPs even on 15dpo (so heaven knows why I tested yesterday!) and it isn;t till 15 dpo or later that I get a proper BFP, so you might be like me. And that happened with my pregnancy that actually resulted in a baby too, so a late BFP doesn't mean you'll have a miscarriage, before you get scared by my history!

I'm so cross with myself that I tested yesterday and wasted one of my tests. I am soooo tired today as well, which is just making me extra-grumpy. Lucky for DD we ae going to a friend's this afternoon so she will have more smiley people to play with!

I think it is a glorified BBT, but I may be wrong:o

You're welcome. I know it must be difficult. I'm dreading mine (first one in a month's time) so I can imagine how you are feeling.

Good that you've left your phone at home as you will have lots of alone time now. Have a lovely time. :)

FRER are more sensitive then ICs I think. I think Superdrug are the only ones more sensitive/ as sensitive.
