Congratulations Elelyn and keeping my fingers cross for you T-sil!

I did a sneaky test this morning, BFN. Oh well, I know it's early but couldn't resist it.

Great! So exciting, and September is a lovely time to have a baby... :)

I would be itching to tell people too! I bet you are finding it hard to concentrate at work today hehe.
    xx

It's unbelievably hard to concentrate (which is why I keep popping on here every 5 minutes - good job no-one can see my screen)! DH had suggested not testing until the evening so I that I wouldn't be like this at work but I wanted to make sure the digi was accurate so had use FMU. Plus, I would have only been sat here thinking about testing anyway!

I'm knackered as well. DH has a stinking cold and kept waking me up coughing, poor thing. Then I got all excited and nervous about testing and I just couldn't get back to sleep. I don't feel like I slept at all - will probably be asleep at my desk this afternoon!

Thanks guys. It all feels a little bit surreal at the moment. DH and I are both thrilled obviously but I'm a little scared too if I'm honest! I can't wait until we can tell our families though. They're going to be so surprised as no-one knew we were trying and we've been married so long I think they'd given up on the idea of us having a baby!

Oh and I put my details into an online calculator and it gave me a due date of 14th September. Which is exactly two weeks after my brother gets married so I'm going to be massive at the wedding

Or giving birth during the ceremony :D

As an aside, I've weed into a pot first thing then tested later in the day. Still uses FMU but you can test together/when you've got more time!

But who cares about that?! Congratulations! And to T-Sil too. x

I've personally never got on with FRER. I much prefer superdrug. Did you say you weren't sure what DPO you are? Maybe you're testing too early?

    xx

Hope that's it...I think I am either 11 or 12dpo. I had ov pain CD 14/15 and currently on CD 26. I guess I could have OV'd a day after the OV pain which would make me a bit early...

I am going to try an IC this afternoon as I can't afford to keep buying FRER!

I don't really have a superdrug nearby unfortunately. Maybe I'll do a digi on Sunday morning.
Is it every 48 hours that hct doubles?

Yay, congratulations!!! It's so lovely to come on here and see that the bfps for the year have started already.... fingers crossed there's going to be one for all of us before the end of 2012!

Have finally started AF properly after days of weird spotting. So that's CD1 again for me.... better luck this month.

FRER are expensive. Yes I think it is every 48 hours that HcG generally doubles. 11/12 DPO could be a bit early. Some people get BFP's that early but then others can get a BFN 13DPO then a BFP on 14DPO. I'm sure a few people on here have had that happen.
