Hello everyone:wave:
I did a CBFM this morning and no hint of a LH line, but the blood test few hours later at the clinic said I've surged:shocked: I mentioned -OPK, and they said it takes time for LH to reach to the urine, and blood test catches it earlier.
So off to get the egg out tomorrow:shocked: Fingers crossed they can reach it, and get it out in time & it's good enough:o
I was told it takes 36hrs after the surge to ov, so with OPK, it may be earlier;)
Penguin, hugs for AF during Christmas:o
Hope 2012 is the year for all of us:)
sexymouse, hope Moon's man flu is better. LOL about Irish cream and charade skills:D
Mrsj28, hope you caught the eggy:)
Gizmodo & Scottishchick27, hugs for AF too:(
Let's make 2012 Olympic baby:beer:
emsbet, hope you'll have a great forever Super baby:j
Hope your cold won't stay though, unless it's SS:D
Nicki, at your MIL & FIL:mad:0 -
QQ - fingers crossed for tomorrow, I really hope it is successful for you.
Emsbet - hugs hope cold symptoms disappear
Nicki - hugs for insensitive fil  that is an awful thing to say.
14 dpo here but no sign of af, hopefully it won't be too late as need to book first blood test between cd2 to cd5
Hugs to all who need them, good luck for everyone planning occ or onyc0 -
Good luck tomorrow QQ. I am off to catch a flight in a few hours and may not get much chance to check the thread for a few days though will have my phone with me. Will be thinking of you though and keeping my fingers crossed.0

Well I didn’t get round to posting about my appointment before Christmas – which is probably a good thing for you ladies as I would have gone on and on.
In short he’s blamed the sudden non stop bleeding on my weight which is a bit odd as my weight hasn’t changed and the bleeding started following the removal of the cells from my cervix. He’s convinced that’s what it is but took a biopsy of my womb to check the cells (I think to make me feel as though he has considered other possibilities). He then basically went on to lecture me about my weight and said I wouldn’t conceive, if I did I would miscarry, if I didn’t I’d have an awful pregnancy and labour (obviously he didn’t come out and say it quite like that but it was clear that in his opinion I am being irresponsible in trying for a baby). I wouldn’t mind but the purpose of my appointment wasn’t about my fertility but about the non stop bleeding. So I have spent the Christmas period very emotional and keep breaking down into tears.
I’m also getting really, really fed up with people telling me that I shouldn’t be upset about struggling to conceive as I’m only young. If one more person tells me that I’m likely to tell them to take a run and jump (but with swear words involved lol).
We have a family gathering today and one of my cousins has been trying for a baby for a while and has unfortunately suffered a few miscarriages. In a way I was kind of dreading seeing her but I’ve just been told that she’s pregnant. Now on the one hand I’m delighted for her (as she really has been though the mill and certainly deserves a bit of happiness) but I’ve still ended up in tears. I’m just glad that I found out now rather than later (with a house full of people).
Anyway, I’m seriously considering giving up the whole TTC idea for a while. I feel as though I’m slowly driving myself mental, I cry all the time and in reality it quite simply is not going to happen in the short term. My Husband needs to have his operation re-done before we can even BD and I have absolutely no idea what is going on with my bits and bobs (and I don’t feel as if I’m going to find out anytime soon). I think it’s likely that I’m going to end up back on the contraceptive pill just to control the bleeding. So I don’t know!0 -
