Hope everyone is having a good day. DH and I are at parents and have been since Friday. Had a long walk earlier with the dog and now chilling on the sofa.

For those who want to know about my proposal yesterday...
My OH wrapped the ring with another present in a box. I opened the box to find 2 presents wrapped and after shaking the little box and hearing something moving around, I thought it was earrings. I opened it and out dropped the ring which I picked up and looked at in shock and put back in the box and closed it in shock. I thought it was just a fancy ring lol. I opened it again and looked at it, OH just stared at me lol. I realised what it was and said to him he needed to be on one knee to propose. He knelt down and asked me to marry him and I said yes. OH was so nervous that I was going to say no because my divorce had only just come through and he thought I would say that it was too soon.
I was completely shocked and my ring is gorgeous.

Beautiful ring! Mine is very similar just white gold instead of yellow. No plan of wedding here though, I just wanted the ring:o:D.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas, I managed to get through it with only a minor arguement with my dad, my fault as a few people had wound me up at the Christening on Christmas Eve and I got stroppy with my dad yesterday, I'm going to be sensible and apologise sometime as he thought he was being funny! I had a word with my mum about stuff that happened on xmas eve, and have told her that I'd rather not be in the company of a couple of her friends again!
Apart from that it was a lovely day!

Hope everyone who has had arguments has made up with one another now.

AF is on her way out, so looking forward to operation NYC. Thought she'd gone, but she's still here - she likes to trick me at the end of her visits!

Just been playing Cranium with my parents and sister before she goes up north to see her OH's family. It's great fun! Moon and I won the game with my sister, and my parents won the second round. Moon has man flu, so I've dosed him up on irish cream coffee as he won't take any medicine, which seems to have perked him up a bit, but didn't help his charades skills. Maybe I should have had some too so we were on the same wavelength.

I'm now on my parents' computer whilst my Mum goes to feed my Nana and my Dad is cooking our dinner. Moon is sitting on the bed next to me, and is getting restless, as he wants to look up gun bits. I, however, want to find some games to play online. I think I'll let Moon get comfortable on the bed, and maybe he'll go to sleep. *inserts evil cackle*

Glad to hear Operation CC is on in a number of households - keeping everything crossed for a bumper load of January BFPs

We had a great BD session on Christmas Eve in the morning, so here's hoping we might have just caught the egg even though I was already 1DPO so I'm not overly hopeful - glad we were able to give it a go though.

Quick question (maths never was my strong point) about cycle length..

How do I calculate the length of luteal phase? If AF arrives on the 14th day past OV, does that count as a 14 day or a 13 day phase? (Am I making sense - i.e. is CD1 counted as one of the DPO?)

Thanks for replies - am looking at my OV calendar on FF and it calculated that last month I OV'd on 24th Nov, and my CD1 this month was 8 December..
