Not at all delighted with his school!

Just fed up with 'the system needs changed' comments you see here and elsewhere :-)

As predicted my son did not get first choice, Banbridge Academy with AQE 99, he is going to 2nd choice Tandragee Junior High which is in The Dickson Plan and at least he has then got a good chance of getting into Portadown College, so all is not lost. Its not easy convincing an 11 yr that though.

Do you know what Banbridge Academy lowest score accepted was??
  • No sure of lowest score but criteria was probably 106-110 and he is only eldest child and not a sibling. Please dont misunderstand his 2nd place school is an excellent school and I am really glad he has got a place I just wish they didn't have to wait so long.

Same here, ah, I don't want to find out over the phone. Do the primary schools know?

Is your postal delivery normally this late? Mine normally comes about 11.30am - eek!
  • Hi mum son's school had a list of all the school places at 9.00am. Could the primary school possibly help you as the wait must be agonising.

Yes, I'll try phoning them in a bit - I want to know/don't want to know all at the same time.
