I must say that I'm flabbergasted that anyone would put just one school on their form. Not sure that its fair on the other kids that this particular child may secure a place in a grammar that wasnt on his/her form whilst some wont who had originally applied.
Best of luck to everyone on Tuesday.0 -
rumour that 20+ A's didn't get in to Our Lady and St Pats... from a member of staff???? not sure if there is / can be any truth in this... feel sick at thought of it. Only hope we do not get down to 3rd choice ourselves as I know ds hasn't really thought it could happen?2014 reach my best.0

DS brought a letter home from headmaster on Friday - stating that if post doesn't usually arrive before child leaves for school he will have a list of school acceptances and will be available to inform parents from before school starts. Think this is very generous indeed0

results day post was v v late for us.... wee son wants me to bring his letter to school at 3:45 when he finishes choir so he can open it there. I hate this idea and hope he'll be easily moved on..... would be great if parents could all get e-mail at 0900 - after kids in school, so we can get the right face on for later. ... it's a rubbish post servie - and we are greater belfast!2014 reach my best.0 -
Oh I thought headmasters didnt find out until after parents. I could be wrong but I thought I read in a memo that they would not find until Wednesday at 8am. Hardly seems fair that they know before we do.0
