I missed a days overtime today 'cos I couldn't face going into work, which is part of the problem....its hard to talk to people, more so my friends. Don't want them to worry about me,i'm the one that shores them up,they have their own problems. Was seeing a CPN a while ago, might see if Dr will refer me back to him.I'm really worried though, if the plug is pulled its all going to come out...
You're most welcome. You can talk to us anytime. It's often the case that people who are used to shouldering a burden are the ones who shore up others and don't get support they so badly need themselves. But it may be that if your friends knew about your difficulties that they'd be very willing to help - it might be worth a try. Do have a chat with your doctor and do see the CPN if you felt he was helpful to you. Hang in there, it seems daunting now I know, but just take it a day at time, things won't get fixed overnight but you will get there. I have to pop out now, but I will back later hun. Big hugs. gillette147 wrote:Hi folks,
Been out for posh coffee with mates earlier.
Siting on sofa discovering Jeff Buckley.
I've had a headache for 3 days solid now. I can feel my ear pulsing. It's just something I get I guess. Specialist not interested and ADs aren't touching the headaches - even thought that is theoretically why I'm on them.
I have to see doc in about 2 weeks to see how i'm getting on and I will discuss it all then. I don't have any more lectures for about a month. So I just have to revise inbetween headaches.
I'm in a think about housework but not do any mood too. My new love is coming tomorow and it's getting a bit dusty round here. Oh well, I've washed the bedding - that's all that matters
Hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine.
I've got the windows open - I know it's cold but it's symbolic.
I've got a fruitbowl full of apples on the turn. So it might be apple tray bake time - a mom recipie that i've loved since a kid. I wish my dad was still alive coz no-one makes custard like he did.
That thought has made me quite sad. Losing someone is a terrible thing and hugs to all of you who have had loss or are worried it's happening.
Maybe it's the ADs but when i have an emotion it seems much stronger than i'm used to. I actually quite like it. I'm not afraid of the crap - its more the happiness I can't deal with. I tend to push it away coz i feel its fleeting or undeserved or it's my self-destruct impulse. But I am trying really hard to fight the negative stuff with my new love. It's going really well with her, she's wonderful. We have distance and other limitations which are going to make it harder as we go but we will just have to cope with it. I hope the hats are needed for me and blinky.
Love you all

Hi Gilly :hello: Good to hear from you hun. Hark at you and your posh coffee!:D 2 weeks seems an awful long time to wait when you're suffering such bad headaches - can they not see you any earlier, if you say it can't wait?
I'm totally with you on the not doing any housework front!:) Tell me when the apple cake is ready and I'll be round!
Hope you have a good day tomorrow with new love, so pleased to hear it's going well. Enjoy feeling happy - you're entitled hun! I'll have to break it gently to Tiffy that we need to step up our savings into the hat fund!:D
I gotta run gilly. Be back later though.
We love you too,

Hiya badgie boy...that tray bake sounds yummmmm!! I hope you make it in time for your badger friend coming to visit
Have you spoken to a pharmacist about your sore heads? there might be something they can give you to ease it a wee bit. When Malky gets headaches I always find a cuppa helps soothe it, and make sure you are drinking enough fluids too...gotta make sure you are 100% for tomorrow.
Thanks for the hugs QB :kisses3:If you obey all the rules...you miss all the fun!! Katherine Hepburn0 -

I take migraleve even tho they arent migraines.
It works on and off.
Farmasists normally reccommend them or the stronger nurophen.
I haven't taken any today but am about to as it's getting even worse.
