You are not useless
You deserve to feel better
Things will get better - but it will take sometime. Try and be patient.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel but I appreciate you cant see it
There will be some setbacks on the way to recovery. Try not to let them knock you too much.
Be kind to yourself (hard I know)
You are valued here.
You have a lot to offer this world. Please take some heart in this.

Well said blinky!:T
Just in case you feel very low when blinky's asleep or out with r, make a list of ...
what is good about you (even if it's just that you remember to flush!:D),
or a list of places you've been (or not, if you're agoraphobic! ),
or a list of people you like and why,
or a list of your favourite things,
or a list of positive statements about yourself similar to what blinky's posted, (e.g. - I am getting better. - I've felt this way before and I coped with it.) and put it somewhere that you'll be able to read it every day,
or make a list of things you daydream of doing ...
or even do a list of lists!
Hope you have a great weekend blinky - hope your tummy's feeling better hun.Hope you and r have a great weekend.
Much Love,

Hey Saz!:hello:
Talking of blinky, I've been looking around for some 2-4-1 hat deals hun - what do you think of this little number?
or this one?...
Well, I think I've got the transport sorted out anyway - although it's always open to discussion!:rotfl:
Because I haven't been out so much, I've got another 33p for the hat fund - well, it was 64p tbh, but there was a catnip sale on & I couldn't resist!:oWhat's our running total now hun?
Sorry to hear work's been so hard on you angel - oh what the heck - take the weekend off! :rotfl: :T

I thought it'd be 3rd time lucky, but no such luck
Hi feelie!:hello:
How are you angel?
I remember that you posted about getting low on your ad's hun and not taking some - that may be why they're not working angel. Another thing to remember is that there are so many ad's to try and if the 3rd ones aren't working for you, and you're taking them properly, you should see your dr about No.4 hun. Don't give up hope sweetheart - something will work for you. I don't think you're likely to be drug-resistant feelie - take your meds and eat and drink properly as well and it may make all the difference. And it does depend on how long you've been taking it too angel. Take everything your dr's prescribed hun - don't leave any out thinking you don't need them. Thinking of you sweetheart.:T

I don't miss that many doses, and I'm getting better. The meds I stop taking are for various other things, and don't affect the depression. I started taking the AD's in October, so almost 4 months now? I dunno. Just nothing seems to work.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

The AD's should have had an affect after nearly 4 months i would go back to the doctors and ask if i could try something else. You should not have to suffer like this. There are lots of differant AD'S and what works for one person may not work for another.0 -

I doubt they'd let me try anything else. I'm just happy that my 'thoughts' on this AD aren't as bad as on previous medications. I refuse to take any SSRI's now because of what they've done to me in the past, and most docs won't prescribe any other sorts. I'll mention it when I go back in a fortnight or so, but I don't think they'll give me anything else.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Hi Tiffy :hello: Thanks for letting me take the weekend off:D Loved those hats hun! :rotfl: In the first pic, that's definitely me in the background having a catnap after too much excitement:D In the last pic I'm a bit concerned about your feet reaching the pedals... but we'll work something out hun.
I just checked the jar - we've now got £1.03 save. So I reckon we can start checking out the shops
But don't worry if we can't find anything within our budget, we can always raid the dressing-up box...
Hope you get some rest over the weekend tiffy hun. Thinking of you as always.
Much love,

I used to be useless at making rolls - what i do now is make the dough in the breadmaker - place it in roll shapes on greased oven tray - cover with clean tea towel and leave for over an hour at least for the rolls to rise and then I bake them.
When i feel really useless making soup in the slow cooker and leaving it - makes me feel I have done something - stops me picking at rubbish - and is a really cheap way to get the best out of simple ingredients.
Dried peas, carrots, onions, potatoes and some veg cubes or ham hank make a soup that has DH a happy bunny and feeling spoiled - even DDs will eat my soup now!
You forget how eating "real food" can help.
Hugs to everyone.
Thanks Elona! Great tip there. Might do a sourdough loaf tomorrow and maybe try some rolls will I'm at it. What time's dinner hun?:) Hope you're well. Sazxxx4 May 20100
