Afternoon all. I'm feeling a little better - wasn't at all well last night which didn't help. Feeling okay, nervous because I'm going to the pub tonight, and I'm so scared that I'm not going to be able to handle it and will end up drinking. Gonna do my best not to. Feeling low still - feel alone. Painfully alone.
Thinking of you all, sending special hugs to Ethel, hope you are okay sweetie.
Thinking of you Carol, hope everything is going as well as possible today.
Thanks guys xStay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

I'm sure you can handle it and stay off the drink. You've managed very well so far.:T :THug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

Hi guys, lets keep our heads up please!!!
remember our greatest triumph is dealing with the bad days, and ensuring that the good days win the battle of the week.
Things aren't too bad this end, improved a lot since folks took loan out for my car, I have to pay it back, but its a weight off my mind, I had buried my head in the sand for too long. So once I sell the car (depending on how much I get, its got a bit of the cosmetic damage too) 11k miles '05' plate etc.
I will distribute a bit to each debt and pay them off in full, my plan is to make them an offer below what I owe them to see if they will accept the offer being slightly below as a full and final settlement.
I save £360 a month without having the car, I mean I could get a used car and still save money, its taught me a lot about being savvy with money, I intend to put a bit away in a sharesave scheme when I start my proper day job (asda is good, I get on with everyone and its ok, but I want something through the day now I've hopefully got through the tough bit) Its a new start, 2007 is the main event for me!
I can overpay on the loan too, so if I get a bonus (applied for some banking jobs) I can pay that off my loan without penalty.0 -
Learning to Drive - Excellent news. Really glad you are enjoying ASDA more. It makes life easier when you enjoy work.
Re: car. Look to see how much it will cost to do cosmetic damage up (either yourself or professionally). The cost may be offset by getting a better price from buyer.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

TY Blinky, was just thinking that myself about the car, I will weigh it up against what I would get for it if I sold it.
Can do it on the cheap I think because I know a couple of mates in the trade who would be able to sort me out with a good deal.
Big big burden gone once that is paid!!!0 -
Btw, love and hugs to Tiff, feelie and the rest of the crew0

Hope everyone is well this morning and have survived the storms.

Hi all,
How are you all doing today? I'm not doing very well. I have seen the mental heath person and she has recommended medication and counselling for me. I am seeing the doctor on tuesday to get the prescription. She also said I should probably stay off for a few weeks til it kicks in, so I'll need to talk to the doctor about a sick note.
I emailed my boss to tell her and she sent me a lovely email saying I shouldn't worry and all I need to do is concentrate on getting better and who is now doing my job.
And it hurts so much. I just feel so useless and not needed at all. What if when I do go beck, they don't need me at all. Everyine is being so lovely and I'm just letting everyone down. I just feel I don't deserve such kindness.
I'm sorry to bother you all, but can I have a hug please?Tiff Appreciation Society Member #50
