Hi Everyone, sorry I haven't been around much past 2 days. Have been to hell and back. Had some bleeding on Friday afternoon, so phoned my doctor. He booked me in for an emergency scan on Saturday morning at the hospital. So we went to the hospital and I had an internal scan.

Basically they couldn't see anything horrendous, and if my dates are wrong and I am only 5 weeks pregnant, then it looked normal, but if my dates are right and I am 7 weeks pregnant then it is much too small. They couldn't see anything in the embryo sack, but that is usual for 5 weeks, but would not be usual for 7 weeks.

In the end they decided that they would wait 10 days and scan me again. If it shows normal growth development and they can then see something in the sac then everything is ok.

It could have been worse, but I know I am not going to relax properly until I have this next scan on the 23rd. Seems ages away.

Also, to top it all, my sickness and tiredness are both getting worse!!

Sorry to dump all this on you. Everyone please cross your fingers that my little bump's ok.

aw Flis21 I am so sorry to hear about this,I know the 23rd is a long way off but try not to worry, try and relax if you can and also rest, dont worry about dumping this on us,that is what we are here for ok? (((hugs))) I will pray for you and your little bump that all will be fine :)

Dates don't seem to be any more accurate now than when I had my 2 (30 year ago!).

I had some bleeding and cramping, but there were no scans, so we relied on crossed fingers, and I went to term with healthy babies.

And I'm pretty sure it's still true that sickness and tiredness indicate a well-established pregnancy.

You will both be fine - but I do understand how far away 23rd seems.

    Friends are like angels
    Sent down from above
    People that care for us
And we return that in love

They bring you through the worst of things
Lift you up when you are down
Are there to have fun with
And stay up all night long

Someone to trust, in your time of need
A ear to listen, and a hand to help you
The guiding path they help you with
The simple things in life, come so easy
    and go

But a friend is a special gift for us all to cherish and remember

rose07, oooh not long until you get that plaster cast off woohoo :D There will be no stopping you then hun.

What did you see at the cinema?

It's good that you are now back at the unit. I know how much you like it there.

I can't believe that they have just left you with no support hun, that is so bad. Keep on at your GP until you get the support you need.

Awww hun I'm really sorry to hear that you were feeling really low the other night. Do you know what caused you to feel so low? Are you feeling sightly better now? Remember that we are all here for you. Big (((HUGS)))

Sounds like you had good fun at your friends :) Puppies are so adorable.

:rotfl: The poddington peas :rotfl: :)
