mclaren, I've had the top of my ear pierced and OMG did that hurt :eek: I do like juno's new piercing though, just not sure I would be brave enough to have it done myself.

I used to have my eyebrow pierced when I was younger but now I'm grown up lol I didn't think it would look right. The only problem with having your eyebrow pierced is the horrible scar it leaves behind when the piercing grows out not good.

YUP - a rebel and stupid. I can say stupid now but at the time I thought it was cool. I now have one ear-ring in each ear.

Tulip - you've made me hungry again!!! But I can asure you that will NOT be cooking a blooming roast dinner today. Tomatoes on toast was easy and quick.

I thought when i was 16 to get my eyebrow done - my cus had it done and i thought it looked cool...... glad i never now lol cos me and pain dont go in the same sentance LOL! (plus, when i see a needle, im on the floor never mind blood!)

And welcome to the depression thread, not sure we met yet, but welcome, soo glad there are more adding to our family here regulary.

Its soo hard to take in what happened to poor Maddy, and not to mention what her parents and family must be going through, i have many friends that have kids a few of which are the same age as maddy and i look after them from time to time, I would never see them come to harm. And im sure all mums/parents can really understand how they would feel if it happened to them. I hope maddy is returned safely and well, A happy birthday Maddy I hope where ever you are you are safe.

How are things with you? Is your foot getting better?

Foot is very sore, but its ok. 2 weeks and counting to go till plaster is off. Im bit busy at the moment, had a date on tuesday, rosie went to the cinema, heheh:D . Wednesday i went back to the unit, everyone was lovely, and they all seemed soo happy to see me:eek: , lol. weds seen my GP too, he is very annoyed that i have no support atm, he is gonna write letters and ring them, till he gets an answer, as it seems things have truly gone awol in their admin department,:rotfl: . I have been very low just recently, last night i was severely low started contemplating ODing as well the other night. I told my GP when i seen him. So atm im like a rollercoaster, up and down like a yoyo, but trying to do me best. I was out last night, at my mates, she has a new puppy called dora, she is sooo adorable, think my baby smelt her on me mind, :rotfl: . She also has a son, he is 2, right loveable thing, but a terror too, so this morning had the 2 year old and puppy jumping around, :rotfl: . And tonight is eurovision, hands up, whose watching it? :rotfl: , well i am, im going to me mates, we gonna watch it together, bit of a eurovision night, so then its not soo bad :rotfl:

ON THE WAY...

So I sat down to rest a while, laying down my load.
I was tired, so weary, of being lost on this lonely road.

Forever and ever it seemed to take, and I shed yet another tear:
Just how long would my journey take? When would the road become clear?

My soul was bruised from all I'd seen and my heart bled every day,
Not just for my own sorry state, but for the poor souls I'd met on the way.

So as I was resting there, I met other travellers passing by,
Some would help, some in such pain, but all of them would try.

And slowly, slowly, each one of them, would eventually bravely arise,
Ready to get back on the road, rested, and with hope in their eyes.

I'd look around as I bid them goodbye and I was always surprised to see,
That once where there rested only me, many travellers sat in my company.

We would talk and share and laugh and cry, each soul within the reach of a hand,
And when a soul left to get back on the road, then yet another would manage to stand.

Still tired and bruised, but stronger somehow - I knew my life-long journey would resume that day.
Smiling and armed with hope, I stepped back on my road, knowing I'd meet many good souls on the way...
