I've been on it for 4 weeks now. By week 3 I was no better and felt worse. Doc told me it could take between 4-6 weeks to kick in. But this week has been completely different. I can get up and not cry. I am functioning. And I am laughing again. :T

    Good morning all

RBK - make sure you rest up and relax while you are away. Is it far from where you are now?

The sun is shining here this morning.

My son made me a cuppa this morning and brought it to me in bed :j Now just got to train him to iron, dust and do the shopping :D

    :hello: Everyone,

wow still quiet on here as its just lil old me,all alone :( he he :)

I wanted to share a poem with you all as I have done it for Madeleine Mccann who is still missing and I have just sent it to Sky news to pass on to Mcann family to help them through their loss at the moment :) Today is Maddys 4th Birthday.

    Wherever You Are

    wherever you are Maddy,

    you are a Angel

    shining bright in the sky

not knowing if you are ok or not

I pray and think of you each day

dearest Maddy I hope you will be found safe and well really soon

and be back with Mummy and Daddy safe in their arms where you belong

Dear Lord watch over Maddy and keep her safe in your love

and please everyone pray for Maddy each day until she is found

and I really hope she can be found today but that is just a dream

but I so wish It could be true then the familys nightmare can come to an end and they can start to live their lives again :)

I wish you a happy 4th Birthday Maddy and I pray for your safe return.

:hello: skintas, I've not tried Citalopram before. I think quite a few people on this thread have or are currently taking it. Hopefully they will be along later to share their experience. I'm glad that you've found it beneficial :)

Karrie, No it's not far, just the other side of town. I'm sure it will make a nice change.

Hope you are OK today hun.

It's raining and windy here today :(

Awww that was nice of your son :) I'm sure you'll have him trained in no time lol

Tulip, I hope you are well :) The poems are beautiful hun. It's so sad that Maddy won't be spending her birthday with her family. Poor girl. I really hope she is found soon.

It's good to have you as part of the depression thread (((HUGS)))
