    Hiya
Seems like yesterday was a pit off a day for a lot of people.
ETHELLBLOGGS- I can sympathise how you feel my bank used to do this all the time and it alwyas comed when you are at your finacial breaking point and really have NO money- like some sick joke .The the bank seems to march in ready to suck everything out of you. The only thing I could think of is do you recieve ANY benefits at all because its illegal for banks to take money for charges from your account if you get any benefits paid into your account. What age is your daughter ? Its tough being a single mother and having to do it all alone and funnily enoguh men rarely contribute financially or physically.

CCSTAR- Hi your from scotland too- i live outside Glasgow , in the sticks !
I have read a few of your bloggs and really feel the situation you have to put up for isnt tolerable. I watched my mother in a very abusive relationship- both mentally & physically and how it ruined her. Eventually she literally ran away one day with me when he left for work. We went to a womens refuge where we stayed for years. It was the best thing for us and it let my mother get support, safety & time to rebuild herself again .
You have one life and it should be happy , I know its hard but you can be happy- you deserve better and if YOU change things you will feel a weight lift and stronger .So please think seriousily about leaving- leave him to stew in the life he has chosen but you deserve a better one and are capable of making it happen- you know that .Good luck x

Huge hugs to all, but especially to CCStar and Ethel who both deserve extra big ones.

CCStar - my parents are in a similar position, trying to sell the house but not getting any viewings. It is tough

I've given up on this month - I bet it picks up at Easter. This happened three years ago when we were selling.

In the sticks - you are lucky, I so don't want to live next door to any more neighbours. I feel I am suffocating here, and the place not selling is making it worse. I am dreading the weather being nice and the neighbours being in their gardens

    Hiya folks.. I'm home finally

Interesting meeting... daughter has now said she doesn't want to live with me anymore, so they're gonna work towards her being ready for independent living. No weekends home for the foreseeable future either. They've also recommended that she spends at least 6 months in the secure unit

At the moment she isn't allowed out without a member of staff escorting her.. she has to earn back the right to go out on her own..

There's another meeting on monday now to discuss her care plan and thats when I'll really find out properly whats going on.

    I'm bloody knackered!

It must be so upsetting to hear this but I feel in the long run, it will hopefully sort things out. You could not go on the way you did.

Here is hoping her careplan is going to work for you both.

Thanks CC.. to be fair, they were a lot more concerned about the impact she has at home so.. it seems the tiffy letter did a lot of good. I told them that I really dont feel physically or mentally able to cope with her at home right now and they were very understanding of that..

Daughter announced that she doens't think it would ever work out with her living with me and that she'd sooner not come home.. not sure if that was a reaction to me saying i can't cope atm or if she was being honest but it did feel a bit like a punch in the gut.

I'm worried that her eating disorder is creeping back cos we went out to tea afterwards (with a staff member sitting by the door just in case) and she woudnt have anything to eat at all.. they are monitoring her very closely for that.

gonna try and visit her on sunday but it's an awful hike to get there and then again on monday.. *sigh*

Hang in there Ethel. You're such a strong person who can overcome this. *HUGS*

Thanks RBK.. everyone comments on how strong I am.. but I'm not.. I just do what I have to, I don't have any alternative do I?

Hows you today? is that pain gone?

Oh Ethel I'm sorry to hear about what your daughter said (((HUGS)))

At least it looks like she is going to be staying there for the time being, in a place that is well equipped to meet her needs.

I suppose on the other hand it may be seen as a relief to you and your family. It seems like you had a truly awful time when your daughter was at home. No one should have to put up with that. At least now she is in a safe place and being looked after.

I admire you for all what you have gone through and overcome.

I'm OK. No the pain is still there :( really quite painful tbh.
