    Congrats LTD - fantastic news!!

I'm feeling pretty low this morning. I slept from 8pm to 12am when DD woke up and jumped in my bed. Slept again from 2am to 6 when eldest DD fell out of bed! I've just got little one off to sleep hoping for some kip myself, but it aint happening...

    Got a headache too. Bleeeeaaaaarh.:(
  • Just a quick update, Went to GP this morning told her about my problems with sleeping, she gave me a some info on insomnia and put me on a 2 week course of sleeping tablets (One every other night) I felt really low in the surgery i just wanted to breakdown crying but i held the tears back. I got into college late because of having to wait ages in the chemist. So i decided not to go to my lesson as its a massive group lesson and I didnt want to disturb them.

Sorry to hear your feeling down! Hopefully those tablets will kick in and let you get some rest. I used to have real problems sleeping. I just used to hate going to sleep as i knew that when i woke up i would have to go to work and another day of hell would start!

Having babies certainly sorted that out (not that i'm suggesting you should have a couple of babies, lol!). I usually collapse at about 11.00 ish and (unless woken by DD or DS, which is quite likely!) i will quite happily sleep all night.

Its always an emotional experience talking to someone new and impartial about the problems your having. I think sometimes its best just to let loose and have a good cry!

The problems i find when trying to get to sleep i get images in my head which makes me very on edge and anxious. I had experiences like this about 2 years ago, i used to think i had a fear of dreaming.

I dont think my OH would be too chuffed if i wanted to use a baby to get to sleep lol :p.

If i wanted to cry i'll have to hold it back for a few hours because i am in college and i know i'd get mocked to high hell.

    Thanks

    xx

Ethel You should get your repeat prescription delivered from the Pharmacy.

I love make-up. It always makes me feel better within myself. You should post a pic so we can see :)

I need to go to the bank to pay in some money and then I might go to see my Grandad on the way back.

Went to therapy yesterday. I've been seeing her for 6 months and have had some pretty powerful moments over that time - flashbacks, sudden intuitive insights etc. I'd been hovering over this depression for about 1 - 2 years and had kept myself busy and avoiding it, but I really crashed about 3 weeks ago (when I first posted on here.)

Therapy yesterday was odd. It's actually art therapy, but I'd only done 1 picture in all that time. Then yesterday I did one and it frustrates the hell out of me. I have no creativity in me at the moment. I think that a lot of my difficulties have arisen because I tend to intellectualise it all, rather than just allowing myself to feel an emotion unhindered. In some ways it was a releif when I finally broke and felt such rage and despair - THEN I could be creative!:rotfl: I'm calmer now but feel rather bleak.
