He probably thinks that he is there for you - men do not think the same way - apart from the rare gems that we have on here (;) she adds hastily).

SoozieSoo wrote:Hi everyone,
I have been on Cipralex for about a week. It has been rough, with headaches and feeling very low. The doctor says this is to be expected for the first few weeks, but I have to stick with it and try and hold it together.
I have a husband and a child, and am a SAHM. My husband was ok for the first day or so, but now he is losing patience will me. I am finding it hard to do the most basic of things and at the moment I am just managing to keep up with the laundry, shopping and feeding everyone.
My house looks like a bomb has hit it. This makes me worse as I have the need to control my environment and untidiness makes me anxious. My husband did not get up until 2 today. He also forgets to mention he had an extra shift at work and left me alone with this untidy house and a child to look after. He said that his work must come first and he can’t hold my hand for the next few weeks.
I really feel like stopping the medication. I feel so low and I have no support from anyone. My husband simply does not understand. He thinks I am on the pills now and should be “better”. I know in a few weeks things may look up and the house will have to wait until then. It just makes me so sad that my husband cannot be there for me.
Hi Soozie,Sorry you are fealing so low and it makes things worse when we feal we have no support. It will take a few weeks for the meds to start working, maybe you could explain that to your husband it is not like taking a pain killer which works in twenty minutes or so.As you say the house can wait until you are fealing better remember you have an illness just like any other.0 -

Hi Ethel, wow you are right! you never have a dull moment!don't know how you hold yourself together you must have great strength. What an awful place to get an ulcer ouch, your poor daughter, hope she is fealing better soon and the pain eases with the drops.0 -
tell me about it, she's in agony poor thing... i've jsut given her some painkillers so hopefully they'll kick in soon. she can't bear any lights on or anything.. so we're all in the dark. It's gonna be a long night methinks!
Part of me is annoyed because it could have been avoided, she got some of those coloured contact lenses a while ago and the hospital said that they cause an awful lot of problems, same as I told her at the time, but would she listen.. hell nooooooooo!☆ §ügÅr cØÅTëÐ pØï§Øn ☆
